| In 1973,Norwegian scholar Arne Naes proposed the concept of "deep ecology" and constructed a theoretical system named "ecological wisdom",and the movement of deep ecology gradually replacing shallow ecology began. The critical theories of anthropocentrism, existentialism,Buddhist holism, respect for life and modern ecology in western academic circles all had an important influence on the formation of Naes’ deep ecology thoughts, which made him form a unique world outlook and methodology.Ecological Wisdom T is the core idea of Alan Ness’ s deep ecology. With the help of it,Alan Ness expounded two basic principles of deep ecology, egocentrism and self-realization,and analyzed the relationship between survival and ecology as well as the relationship between human nature and beast.Arne Ness applied his deep ecological thought to production and life practice and put forward a series of propositions, such as simple life style,non-violent political way, economic development mode under the premise of protecting nature, etc.Alan Ness’ s deep ecological thought has played a positive role in promoting the development of the theoretical movement of deep ecology and the environmental protection movement in contemporary society. It has also been criticized by the deep ecology camp and the anthropocentrism camp because of the inherent contradiction and imperfection of his theory. As a representative of the environmental protection movement,Alan Ness’ s ecological holism has important implications for China’s ecological civilization construction and important theoretical and practical significance for global environmental protection. |
