UBF reactor and electrocatalytic oxidation process were used to treat antibiotic wastewater,and the optimal conditions were determined.UBF coupling electrocatalytic oxidation process was operated under the optimal conditions,the analysis and research were unfolded by the results.The study on the UBF reactor showed that the optional condition could be attained when hydraulic retention time,volume load and VFA/ALK was 24 hours,10 kg COD/(m3·d)and 0.1,respectively.Comparing the efficiency of activated carbon,composite filler and polyurethane foam,the results demonstrated that the combined filler had the best removal efficiency,the removal rate was 86.49%.Under the condition of current density was 30 m A/cm2,electrolyte concentration was 5m M(Sodium chloride),the p H and COD concentration was 7 and 300mg/L,espectively.The removal rate of COD reached 96.75% after 35 minutes of electrolysis,which was the optimal effect.The kinetic model of COD degradation by electrocatalytic oxidation was established.It was found that the ratio of the total number of electrons generated by electrification to the number of electrons needed to degrade pollutants increased with the electrification time.The fastest reaction rate could be reached when ratio varies from 4 to 10.The degradation of pollutants occurred mianly in the first 30 minutes.When the influent concentration was 2973.01±57.52mg/L,the treatment rates of UBF reactor and electrocatalytic oxidation process were 85.85% and 74.03%,respectively,and the total removal rate was 96.33%.The concentration of COD in effluent was 109.253mg/L,which had reached the standard.Contrastive analysis had been done for infrared spectra of antibiotic wastewater from different stages,and the possible decomposition process of cefotaxime sodium was given.The advantages of UBF coupling electrocatalytic oxidation process for antibiotic wastewater treatment complemented each other successfully.The feasibility of coupling process could provide reference for engineering application in related fields.Figure34;Table10;Reference99...
