Study On The Treatment Of Antibiotic Wastewater By SBR Process

With the enhancement of environmental regulation requirement,issue of new wastewater discharge standard and constant improvement of people,s requirement of the environmental quality,the treatment of pharmacy wastewater become a great urgent task..Antibiotic is the widest-used material in the world.Its production will produce large amount of wastewater,which is higher COD concentration,higher SO42- concentration,chromaticity color,task and weak biodegradability.The treatment of antibiotic wastewater is focuses in environmental research at present.According to the national wastewater discharge standard and request of total amount of pollutant,it is essential to develop the research of antibiotic pharmacy wastewater treatment technology.Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) was developed in the 1980s,which is an important wastewater treatment for the activated sludge. in this paper the achievement obtained by predecessors was summarized and analyzed in details,the present conditions of antibiotic pharmacy wastewater treatment and possibility of SBR applying to antibiotic pharmacy wastewater treatment were explored.At the same time,antibiotic wastewater discharge and characteristic of wastewater were briefly presented.Then,degradation regulation of organic substance in the treatment process of antibiotic pharmacy wastewater by sequencing batch reactor(SBR).And,the analysis about influence factors to SBR was advanced.The engineering tests show that the antibiotic wastewater can be treated effectively by SBR process,which has highly concentrated organic impurities and large variety of wastewater quality and flux.The water quality of the final effluent is good. It has notable advantage such as simple design,flexible operation,less land and stable effect on treatment. Therefore,this process is worthy to be popularized.
