Research On Indoor Lamps Design Based On Arnheim's Visual Dynamic Theory

With the increasing aesthetic standards of the Chinese people,the aesthetic demand for indoor lamps is also improving.The government's schedule to push LED lamps out of traditional lamps is also accelerating the product iteration in the lamp market.Thanks to the joint effect of technology,aesthetics and market,China have been the world's largest indoor lamp manufacturer,but China is still in the stage of imitation and lacks high-quality original design.However,China is still in the stage of simple imitation and most designs are low-quality and lacks high-quality original design.Most lamp styles on the market have been unable to satisfy people's pursuit of their aesthetics.The reason is that Chinese lamp designers generally lack systematic aesthetic knowledge.Therefore,design aesthetic standards are low.Based on this background and the problems that have been found,this project introduces the Arnheim's visual dynamic aesthetic theory into interior lighting design,in order to provide lamp design practitioners with aesthetic-based design principles and feasible design methods.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Through making literature research,the Arnheim's visual power theory and its related theories are sorted out and summarized,and the correlation between visual power theory and indoor lamp design is analyzed;(2)Systematically combing Arnheim's visual dynamics theory and screening out five types of visual dynamics patterns that can be used in indoor lamp design,including deformation,inclination,overlap,stroboscopic and gradual change,and gravity,and analyzing their generation mechanism and manifestation;(3)Through analyzing classic excellent lamp design cases,the concrete manifestations of five types of visual dynamic patterns on indoor lamps are summarized.(4)Comprehensively analyzing the combination rules of various visual dynamic styles in indoor lamps,and summarizing the organization principles of integrity,difference and identity of image dynamic in indoor lamps;(5)Feasible design methods for indoor lamps that take into account organizational principles and use specific forms of visual power are proposed.It includes three main methods: manufacturing motionless motion,introducing objective dynamic elements,and manufacturing light and heavy virtual and real contrast;(6)Finally,feasible methods are applied to the design practice of indoor lamps and lanterns,and the conceptual design is put forward.This project studies the application of Arnheim's visual power theory in indoor lamp design.It aims at studying indoor lamp design from the perspective of visual power aesthetics,proposing indoor lamp design methods that conform to aesthetic rules,and providing new design approaches to improve the aesthetic standards for domestic indoor lamp designers.
