In the field of modern national defense and military,the research on projectile penetration has always been an extremely important research direction.In fact,the research on the traditional round section projectile penetration has been quite mature.However,with the emergence of some new weapon launching platforms,the focus of the penetration problem has shifted to the research on the heteromorphic penetrator for military purposes,and there is a lack of theoretical and simulation work in this regard.This paper is aimed at a kind of penetration for different body-the rotational symmetry of elliptical cross section of the projectile,in the process of penetration of concrete target with circular cross section as the research object from the traditional approach to the study of projectile penetration of concrete,the existing,on the basis of experiments and theoretical analysis,established the corresponding penetration theory model,and then used the means of numerical simulation,process of elliptical cross section of the projectile penetrating concrete.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)Research on the material properties of concrete itself.Based on the mechanical properties of concrete materials obtained from relevant experiments,the general form of concrete penetration is analyzed,based on which some reasonable assumptions applied in theoretical engineering modeling are put forward,and then the parameters in the dynamic constitutive model describing the properties of concrete materials are explained in detail.(2)Theoretical analysis and research on the penetration of elliptic section projectile body into concrete target.Based on cavity expansion theory of projectile penetration of the concrete,in the process of penetration by elliptical head of missile body integral expression for the resistance of the projectile,the elliptic cross section is established projectile penetration two-phase resistance model of semi-infinite concrete target,then the penetration process in kinematics,obtained when the projectile penetration overload,some end effect parameters,such as speed,depth of invasion,analytical values.(3)Numerical simulation study on the penetration of elliptic section projectile body into concrete target.Through the nonlinear dynamic simulation software ls-dyna,the process of the projectile body penetrating the concrete target of half infinite thickness with oval elliptic section with different impact velocity and different length axes was numerically simulated,and some regularity conclusions of the projectile body penetrating with elliptic section were obtained.
