Wastewater treatment plants are important part of urban infrastructure and play vital role in protecting the water environment.However,the construction of wastewater treatment plants started a little late,and the sewage discharge standard is low.The discharging of tailwater into rivers may further cause pollution of the receiving water bodies.For example,Chaohu Lake in Hefei,The receiving water body of Hefei City Sewage Plant is distributed around Chaohu Lake.The pollution caused by the receiving water body will directly affect the water quality of Chaohu Lake.This thesis mainly discussed the advanced wastewater treatment process and technology,and took the Hefei West Group Wastewater Treatment Plant as an example to discuss how to design to meet the Class IV effluent discharge standard,and analyze the operation performance and economic benefit of the West Group Wastewater Treatment Plant wastewater,which will provide a reference for the management of wastewater treatment plants in China.?1?Analyzing how to make the tailwater of the sewage plant meet the IV water standard.COD,TP,TN,and NH4+-N were further improved on the basis of the first-level A standard,and reached the surface IV water quality.After the conventional sewage treatment,the concentration of TN,TP,and other pollutants is still high,so the sewage needs to be further processed after the conventional treatment,to remove the excessive nitrogen and phosphorusthrough coagulation,precipitation,and filtration processes.High-efficiency sedimentation tanks,denitrification deep-bed filter tanks and other processes can effectively remove nitrogen,phosphorus and suspendid solid?SS?.?2?Exploring the design process of the sewage treatment plant in the Hefei West Group Wastewater Treatment Plant.The whole sewage plant adopted an underground construction form,which improves the land utilization rate and reduces the impact on the surrounding residents.The biochemical treatment process uses pre-hypoxia+A2/O+blast aeration process form,improving the efficiency of biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal.In the deep treatment stage,the use of high-efficiency sedimentation tank and denitrification deep bed filter process improve the removal efficiency of SS and enhance the denitrification.?3?Analyzing the actual operation performance and economic benefit of the Hefei West Group Wastewater Treatment Plant.Based on the collected data of three years operation,tincluding COD,BOD5,TP,TN,and NH4+-N,which reached near IV discharding standard.SS removal efficiency was around 94%,COD removal efficiency 81%?94%,BOD5removal efficiency 92%?97%,TP removal efficiency86%?97%,NH4+-N removal efficiency 95%,and TN removal efficiency 70%?90%.At the same time,the benefit analysis of the entire sewage treatment plant was carried out,mainly in terms of economic benefits,environmental benefits,and social benefits.
