Nitrogen pentoxide is recognized as a green nitrating agent with excellent performance and a green and clean production process.Nitrogen pentoxide used in nitrification has the characteristics of easy control of temperature,single component of waste acid,high selectivity and high yield of target product without oxidation by-reaction.Electrolysis method for preparing nitrogen pentoxide is currently the most promising method for preparing nitrogen pentoxide.This thesis is based on the laboratory-scale?100g/batch?technology and principle prototype of preparing nitrogen pentoxide by nitrogen tetroxide electrolysis,calculates the maximum current density,analyzes the methods of reducing specific energy,and designs and builds a kilogram-grade nitrogen tetroxide electrolysis device with baffle structure to prepare nitrogen pentoxide.The influence of baffle shape and spacing on electrolysis effect was studied.When baffle shape is baffle and baffle spacing is 40mm,electrolysis yield is high and specific energy is low.The condition optimization experiment of kilogram electrolysis device was carried out.The specific energy reached 1.18 kWh/kgN2O5 with a yield of 75.8%,which was better than that of laboratory electrolysis device.On this basis,a 10kg grade nitrogen pentoxide electrolytic preparation device with 8 baffles was designed.
