The graphene-like two-dimensional?2D?layered materials?e.g.MoS2 and Ti3C2?show unique optical,electronic,mechanical,and catalytic performance associated with numerous potential applications from optoelectronic devices to nanomedicine.This article thesis will study the graphene-like 2D materials from the following aspects.1.The synthesis of hyperbranched polyglycerol?HPG?grafted MoS2-OH nanosheets?MoS2-g-HPG?composite materials based on the surface-initiated ring-opening polymerization technique.The successful grafting of HPG from the surface of MoS2-OH nanosheets was demonstrated by Thermogravimetric analysis?TGA?and Fourier transform infrared?FTIR?results as well as transmission electron microscope?TEM?.The MoS2-g-HPG nanosheets exhibited high colloidal stability at diverse pH.Our further evaluated MoS2-g-HPG composite materials the cytotoxicity by 293T human embryo kidney cells and MCF-7 breast cancer cells using MTT cell-viability assay.The result indicates the excellent photothermal therapy effect and nice biocompatibility as well as low cytotoxicity of MoS2-g-HPG nanosheets.2.An efficient and simple method for the synthesis of amphiphilic carbide-derived graphene quantum dots?GQDs?was presented by solvothermal treatment of Ti3C2Tx MXene in dimethylformamide?DMF?.TEM images indicate that the sizes of as-made GQDs are in the range of 4-10 nm and the AFM images and corresponding height analysis reveal a topographic height distribution between 0.68and 2.74 nm,Suggesting that most of GQDs consist of two graphene layers.FT-IR results reveal the presence of-OH,C=O,C-O,C-N and C=C groups,which can endow the GQDs with favourable solubility both in hydrophobic solvents?e.g.,dimethylformamide,water,ethanol,and tetrahydrofuran?THF??and in hydrophilic solvents.Furthermore,the photostability of GQDs is much better than commercially available fluorescent agents Alexa fluo 488 and fluorescein.The applications of GQDs in the fluorescent ink and light-emitting composites as well as bioimaging were also studied.3.Large-scale production of defect-free MoS2 nanosheets by direct ultrasonication exfoliation in ethanol using pyrene as an effective exfoliating agent was studied.AFM images indicate typical topographic heights of 0.75 nm,which is assigned to single-layer MoS2 nanosheets.The lattice distance of 0.28 nm is assigned to the?100?atomic planes of MoS2.The obtained MoS2 nanosheets were not damaged during sonication,retaining their single crystalline nature.PEVA-MoS2 composite films were fabricated by simple blending of the MoS2 nanosheets with PEVA in dichloromethane and followed by solvent evaporation like other reported composite films,the mechanical properties of PEVA-MoS2 composite films were study,the result reveal the tensile strength and Young's modulus of the composite were significantly by enhanced.
