Research On Innovative Design Of Origin And Evolution Of Modern Mongolian Costumes Elements

Mongolian costumes have unique national characters presented in the design with rich colors,special decorative forms,and reflect their diverse cultural structure.The Mongol costumes indicate the development of Mongolian history,including the national aesthetic,religions as well as the productivity of the Mongolian community.Along with the cultural development and various cultural exchange,Mongolian costumes have continuously integrated new content under such cultural modernization,which enables a diversified development of the Mongol costumes.Among the various elements of Mongolian costumes,each of them could provide numerous ideas and unconventional directions in Mongol costume design.Therefore,the research of its evolution is fundamental for the innovative design of contemporary Mongolian costumes.The Mongolian costumes implicate the extensive and profound traditional culture.Thus,this study will be based on the primary elements of the modern Mongol costumes together with the transformations of its decorations to analyzed the continued features of Mongolian costumes.The first chapter will review the modern Mongol costume styles,identify the distinct elements by the costume structure,collar styles,sleeves types,hats styles,patterns,motifs,and craftsmanship.The second and third chapters will further analyze the above distinct elements by combining historical documents,archaeological objects,and image data.It shows that the distinct elements are deeply influenced by the social environment,aesthetic,lifestyle,customs,and religions during the evolution of Mongolian history.Therefore,the Mongol costumes have been transformed from the practical perspective design initially to the multi-angle perspective design currently.The design innovation of modern Mongolian costumes should fulfill the requirements of the deepening influences in the contemporary fashion culture,the changes of aesthetics as well as the environment.The fourth chapter will be based on the research on the development process of the costume symbols,aiming to offer the suitable innovation directions and multi-dimensional inspiration for modern Mongolian costumes design by respecting and applying traditional culture appropriately.In order to better inherit and promote the Mongolian culture,the design innovation of the Mongol costumes should combine various factors such as the preference of the consumers,their working environment,and their cognition about costumes.Besides,to tailor a fashionable and wearable design for Mongolian costumes by satisfying the needs of customers,enlarge the target market,and advertise the wearing concept will also benefit the Mongolian culture heritage and promotion.
