Research On The Evolution Of Mongolian Traditional Costumes From The Perspective Of Multicultural Integratio

The traditional Mongolian ethnic group’s costume is an important part of the treasure-house of Chinese costume,and also a bright pearl in the northern grassland culture.Its distinctive features,rich varieties and diverse forms represent the crystallization of the wisdom of the Mongolian people.With the lengthy change of the Mongolian people’s dynasties,the Mongolian costumes have gone through multiple stages in the process of development.From the perspective of multicultural integration,in addition to inheriting the excellent cultural traditions of the Mongolian people,they also have collided with the multicultural cultures of other ethnic groups in exchanges.It has a profound influence on the evolution process of Mongolian ethnic group’s costume.This paper intends to integrate diverse cultures,explore the Mongolian traditional culture and characteristics.Through the early material culture,institutional culture,spiritual culture and other aspects of Mongolian ethnic group,combined with the content and research methods of fine arts,ethnology,costume science and other disciplines,paper analyses the evolution of Mongolian traditional clothing comprehensively.This paper which discusses the multicultural fusion of Mongolian clothing in terms of style,material,pattern and other aspects of multicultural integration has provided a new perspective for the culture inheritance and development of modern Mongolian costume and its design practice.The purpose of this article is to learn from history,introduce the old and bring forth the new,and forge a strong sense of Chinese national community.In the early stage of writing,the author read and sorted out a large number of domestic and foreign related literature.Many scholars have done a large number of detailed research on Mongolian clothing and formed a lot of books.Nevertheless,the research results in the context of ethnic multicultural communication and integration are rare as morning stars.Therefore,the author takes the traditional Mongolian clothing as the research object and the multi-cultural integration as the perspective to write the paper.Because of the long history,great influence,wide range of communication and migration of the Mongolian ethnic group and huge research content,the author chose to start from the 13th century Genghis Khan established "Great Mongolia",which is generally known as "Great Mongolia Period" with typical,ethnic and integrated costume changes in the process of sorting out the evolution of Mongolian costume.This article includes but is not limited to clothing,cultural relics,ancient books,murals,picture scrolls,picture albums and other aspects of Mongolian ethnic group.The paper plays a significant role in carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture though reforming,innovating,citing past and proving today.
