The carbon fiber reinforced plastics have the characteristics of high strength,good abrasion resistance and strong corrosion resistance of carbon fiber materials,and the small proportion of resin materials,wide range of uses,etc.,making it more and more widely used in various industries.As a non-contact machining method,picosecond laser has the advantages of less loss than traditional tool cutting,but also has the high precision of nanosecond laser and the high efficiency of femtosecond laser.In the actual production of blind holes of carbon fiber reinforced plastics processed by picosecond lasers,there are defects such as depression of the bottom surface of the blind hole,interlayer tearing,excessive heat-affected zone,poor bottom micro-morphology,and poor mechanical properties.This creates challenges for high-quality processing.Therefore,this subject researches key issues such as the process law and optimization of blind hole processing of carbon fiber reinforced plastics with picosecond lasers,explores high-precision processing strategies for blind holes of carbon fiber reinforced plastics with picosecond lasers,and optimizes existing processing methods.The main research contents and related conclusions are as follows:(1)Analysis of the factors influencing the quality of blind hole in carbon fiber reinforced plastics processed by picosecond laser.Based on the properties of carbon fiber reinforced plastics and the characteristics of picosecond lasers,an experiment was conducted on the effects of picosecond laser process parameters on the quality of blind holes,the laser power,scanning speed,hatch distance,micromorphology were analyzed and summarized.(2)Simulation of picosecond laser processing blind hole of carbon fiber reinforced plastics.The macro-blind hole removal of carbon fiber reinforced plastics by picosecond lasers is analyzed.A COMSOL numerical simulation model is established,and a variable hatch distance and variable scanning speed processing model is proposed.The numerical simulation calculation of equal filling distance,variable hatch distance and variable velocity scanning strategy is carried out.The change rule of the concave depth of the blind hole bottom under different hatch distance parameters and variable velocity function is analyzed,and the effectiveness of variable hatch distance strategy and variable velocity strategy to improve the blind hole quality is proved.(3)Experimental study on blind hole machining by picosecond laser with different scanning strategies.Aiming at the quality optimization of the defects on the bottom of the blind hole,the experimental research on the blind hole processing of carbon fiber reinforced plastics by picosecond laser under different strategies was carried out.The corresponding process parameters were summarized when the evaluation indexes such as the depth and micro morphology of the blind hole bottom were better.It was verified that the strategy of variable hatch distance and variable speed in the numerical simulation model could improve the quality problems such as the defects on the bottom of the blind hole.
