Nuo Mask Of Pingxiang Xiangdong Research On The Development And Design Of Cultural And Creative Products

The Nuo Mask of Pingxiang Xiangdong is a Chinese intangible cultural heritage,a gem of Chinese traditional carving art,and a symbol of the Nuo culture with regional characteristics.Having been inherited for thousands of years,the Nuo Mask enjoys high academic value,artistic innovation value and commercial value.Studying the Nuo Mask of Pingxiang Xiangdong in Jiangxi Province not only reflects the historical changes of the Nuo culture in different periods,but also provides a reference for studying the cultural concepts,folk forms and social changes of ancient China.The unique expression and artistic characteristics of Pingxiang Xiangdong Nuo Mask can provide valuable materials for cultural creative product design and national craft innovation.In order to better protect the intangible cultural heritage,this thesis carries out a series of researches around the Pingxiang Xiangdong Nuo Mask,closely related to the current political and cultural industry background.Based on the method of field study,the market demand for the Nuo mask and the relevant cultural creative products are deeply analyzed.We visited Lai Mingde,the national inheritor of the Nuo Mask,and the provincial inheritor Chen Quanfu and Peng Guolong,and inspected the traditional craftsmanship process of Pingxiang Xiangdong Mask.The developmental trend of the Nuo Mask art was recorded and organized in the form of video,audio and pictures.Combined with the related literature and theory monographs,this thesis combs through the cultural development context,and conduct arrangement and protection of the Nuo Mask by modern photographic technology and digital media.The thesis also Summarizes the origin of the Nuo Mask,artistic features,folk cultural characteristics,and the traditional craft carving process,in order to explore the elements and resources of cultural and creative products.The charm of traditional culture is displayed in different form in mainly five sections,such as tourism souvenirs,film and television works,documentary photographic works,painting art re-creation,and WeiChat emojis,which is for the purpose of promoting the construction of cultural industry chain,and local economic development.Simultaneously,it also contributes to the vitality of traditional culture and the development of the Nuo Mask.
