With the development of the society,the natural resources have been seriously damaged.The problems of soil erosion,energy consumption and resource reserve are becoming more and more obvious,and people have to pay attention to the ocean.As it accounts for more than half of the earth,this choice is well-reasoned.River sand is an integral part of the building foundation material.At present,the country is undertaking ‘The Belt and Road' development and continuing to accelerate the construction pace,which demands for river sand increasingly.But after all,there is a limited amount of river sand reserves,and a large number of river sand collection will cause damage to the ecological environment.In recent years,the inland areas are also developing rapidly following the economy of the coastal areas.The country continues to increase investment for high-speed rail,EMU and a series of road construction in each province and city.River sand is the main material for mortar and concrete.The acceleration of industrialization process in our country leads to the increasing demand for river sand.However,due to the imbalance between supply and demand,a large number of use will inevitably result in price increases.At the same time,a resource-saving and environment-friendly city has become everyone's pursuit under our national call.Policies of restrictions on sand mining has been introduced,but it is not the long-term strategy to ease mining.The development of new clean energy alternatives can possibly solve this problem in essence.Our country has a vast territory and abundant sea sand resources.The sea sand has low mud content with great grain shape and good fineness,which is suitable for the preparation of mortar.The sea sand is the raw material in coastal areas with rich yield.It is a wise choice to replace river sand with sea sand,which not only contributes to the resources consumption and saving,but also reduces some unnecessary transportation costs.On the other hand,because sea sand contains a certain amount of chlorine salt and shell,so measures must strictly abide by to eliminate or reduce the harm in practical application.At this stage,the technology of utilizing sea sand is not skilled,but corresponding experimental studies have been carried out.On the basis of existing technology,sea sand should be used more effectively without increasing harmful conditions.Therefore,it is a new direction for the development of constructiontechnology to replace river sand with sea sand and go towards “symbiosis with the environment”,which is also another important research topic for the sustainable development of economy and environment.This paper aims at the natural shoal sand and takes experimental study on the mechanical properties and physical properties of mixed mortar of sea sand and river sand.What's more,the results are analyzed and discussed.The paper is divided into 6chapters,as follows:The first chapter is introduction.It mainly introduces the information obtained through the author's field investigation and literature survey,which mainly includes:the research background,the significance,research status at home and abroad.This chapter also briefly introduces the focus and direction of this research.The second chapter is the material selection and the basic scheme of experiment.This chapter mainly introduces the performance index of river sand,sea sand,cement and the basis and basic lines of the experiment.Also,it introduces the design of mixed mortar of sea sand and river sand.The third and the fourth chapter are the experimental studies respectively from two aspects: physical and mechanical properties.It introduces the specific test method and the instrument.And the results are formed into chart to observe the changes of each performance.The fifth chapter is the discussion and analysis of the test results.The test results are summarized and compared in this chapter.And the test results of each performance for mixed mortar of sea sand and river sand are formed into chart.The main factors to change the performance of mortar are analyzed through horizontal comparison.Finally,the main conclusions of this paper and the prospect of the future research work are given.
