In recent years,with the rapid economic development,China has leapt to the second place in the world,becoming the second largest economy.But the ensuing pollution and environmental issues have sounded the alarm for us.People realize that economic development cannot come at the cost of environmental damage.With the improvement of environmental awareness,people pay more and more attention to the issues of low carbon,environmental protection and waste utilization.However,the production and manufacture of traditional glazed tiles also face these problems.The furnace's firing pollution is serious,and the emissions of smoke are not up to standard;the raw materials of glazed tiles are restricted for exploitation,resulting in a shortage of materials.In order to solve the above problems,we hope to develop a mature collaborative solution.We tried to achieve the goal of emission reduction through the transformation of furnace by catalytic combustion technology and reduce the consumption of clay through the use of fly ash.The main contents are as follows:By analyzing the mechanism of methane catalytic combustion and pollutant suppression,it is concluded that natural gas catalytic combustion can achieve complete combustion of fuel by reducing the activation energy of the reaction and changing the reaction path.And catalytic combustion has a positive effect on the control of smoke pollutants NOx,CO,and incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons.Through our understanding of the catalyst system,we selected a suitable system for this experiment.A cordierite honeycomb ceramic is used as the matrix,and the oxide carrier is a mixed component of ZrO2,BaO,and CeZrO2.In order to improve the catalyst activity and life,the active component is selected from a variety of precious metals.We applied the catalytic combustion technology to the ceramic furnace,and through several experiments,summarized the firing curve of the glazed tiles.During the firing process of glazed tiles,controlling the firing temperature and firing curve is the key to determining the quality of the glazed tiles.In this experiment,the natural gas catalytic combustion furnace has good radiation effects and radiant energy accounts for 46%of the total input energy.By analyzing the flue gas at the exit of the furnace,we found that the catalytic combustion furnace has a high combustion efficiency.In the stage of stable catalytic combustion,the concentrations of pollutants such as CH4,CO,and NOx in the flue gas are almost close to zero.The experiment found that the natural gas catalytic combustion furnace has good adaptability in the firing of glazed tiles.For the flash back of catalytic burners,we analyze the causes into two categories:“dynamic flash back”and“thermal flash back”.By selecting appropriate honeycomb ceramic size,opening ratio,and excess air coefficient of premixed gas to suppress"dynamic flash back";By adding blank honeycomb ceramics and water-cooled heat exchangers,the"thermal flash back"is suppressed.The use of these measures played a very good role in the experiment.We mix fly ash in clay to save raw materials.Through pre-experiments,the key factors affecting the physical properties of glazed tiles are obtained:forming pressure,fly ash parameters,sintering temperature,etc.Secondly,through the experimental design and the orthogonal experiment method,we obtained the suitable making process of glazed tiles:That is,fly ash is 30%,clay is 70%,forming pressure is 20 MPa and the firing temperature is 1100°C.Under the superior level combination,the water absorption of the body is about9%,the compressive strength is 65 MPa,and the freeze resistance meets 15 freeze-thaw cycles.Its physical indicators are in line with national regulations for glazed tiles.
