Synthesis And Properties Of Rare Earth Transition Metal Carboxylate Organic Coordination Complexes | Posted on:2020-01-31 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:S Guo | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2381330623463050 | Subject:Organic Chemistry | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Rare earth metal organic complexes have attracted extensive attention from scientists for their special phycial and chemical properties,as a result they have the potential applications in luminescent materials,magnetic materials,catalytic materials,chemical sensors,nonlinear optics,gas storage,and so on.It has become a cross-disciplinary field in coordination chemistry,materials engineering and topology,and crystal engineering.In this paper,organic dicarboxylic acid was used as a ligand to self-assemble with transition metals or rare earth ions to construct a variety of complexes with novel structures.In this paper,a series of rare earth transition metal organic carboxylic acid complexes were synthesized,and their structures and properties were reseached.The main work is as follows:First,in the hydrothermal condition,the monocrystalline complexe with pore structure of 14-member ring ternary complexes was synthesized with Transition metal copper ions and ligands of Succinic acid and Imidazole,which have not been reported in the literature,and the crystal structure of the complexes was known to be Cu(C3N2H4)2(C4H5O4)2 by X-ray diffraction analysis.The thermochemical properties of complexes were studied by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis.Second,under hydrothermal conditions,rare earth complexe was synthesized by using europium rare earth ions and oxalic acid ligand.The complex has layered structure and it is connected by water hydrogen bond in the middle of the layers.The crystal structure of the complex was determined to be Eu2(CH3COO)6(H2O)4 by X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis.Third,the ternary rare earth complexes were synthesized from rare earth ions and transition metal with ligand of 2,6 pyridine dicarboxylic acid under the hydrothermal conditions with the raw materials unchanged and the pH value of the mixture changed.The complexes were analyzed by X-ray single crystal diffraction,and the crystal structures were obtained as Ln(2,6-dipic)3Mn1.5(H2O)6,(Ln=Er,Eu)and Ln(2,6-dipic)3Mn2Ac(H2O)6,(Ln=Ho,Dy).The thermochemical and magnetic properties of the complexes were analyzed. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Hydrothermal, Rare earth complex, Crystal structure, Magnetic | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
