Along with the unceasing development and breakthrough of the material science domain,more and more high-performance composite materials have been widely used,which has gradually made up for the manufacturing industry due to the lack of material properties and defects.Carbon fiber composite(CFRP)as one of them,has lots of advantages such as light in weight,small density,high strength,as well as hightemperature corrosion resistance,which makes it possible to become indispensable raw materials in the field of machinery.However,due to the limitations of production equipment and process,the molding efficiency of carbon fiber composite products is still not high.In order to solve this problem,a fiber spreading and forming equipment with strong adaptability,high production efficiency and stable product quality has been designed,so as to better meet the production needs.First of all,consult relevant materials and literature through a variety of ways so as to understand the current fiber laying automation equipment research situation.According to the situation of the core module and fiber laying process,various schemes that can meet the design requirements were put forward,and reasonable comparative analysis was made to clarify the implementation method and design route of each part of the actuating mechanism.Secondly,according to the mandrel shape characteristics,factors such as material properties,processing technology,a corresponding constraint theory and numerical model have been set up.Based on the adaptive filament laying theory of meshed surface and geodesic equation,combined with mechanical constraints,the laying path was planned.To avoid folding defects caused by too small radius of curvature,the minimum radius of curvature was analyzed so as to ensure that the fiber can cover the entire mandrel surface on the basis of meeting the requirements of laying.Thirdly,according to the function and structural characteristics of the whole mechanism,the motion form of its actuator was analyzed,and corresponding kinematics model was established according to the laying requirements and the motion form.The feasibility of the laying motion was analyzed,and finally the rationality of the laying motion in this design was verified.Finally,on the basis of the above wire laying trajectory planning and motion analysis,the research and design of the wire laying head,gantry frame and core die clamping mechanism was carried out successively,and the prototype of fiber spreader was realized.Reasonable implementation plans have been formulated according to production needs.SolidWorks software was used to conduct 3d modeling of the whole mechanism,and the designs of key parts were analyzed and optimized based on ANSYS Workbench platform.
