In the automatic manufacturing equipment,the automatic detection and monitoring system is an important part of the automatic manufacturing system,in which the linear array charge coupled device(CCD)image sensor used for size measurement is a very effective non-contact detection technology.In the tobacco machine filter rod forming unit,the circumference of the filter rod needs to be detected and monitored online in real time.The CCD photoelectric diameter measuring device can well realize the online non-contact detection of the filter rod diameter(circumference),improve the detection and control accuracy of the filter rod circumference,and thus improve the production quality and efficiency of the filter rod.In this paper,the development of photoelectric diameter(circumference)detection device to replace the original KDF3(ZL26 series)filter rod molding machine pneumatic circumference detection device project as the research content,the linear CCD photoelectric diameter measurement method has been more comprehensive analysis and research.According to the technical requirements and the size and installation mode of the original pneumatic diameter detection device,the composition,device type selection and installation location of each component of the photoelectric diameter detection device were systematically analyzed and planned,and the scheme optimization design of the electronic control system and overall structure of the photoelectric diameter detection device was completed.This paper introduces the detailed design of the rotating mechanism of the main subsystem of the photoelectric diameter detecting device,the photoelectric detecting component and the signal processing control component.The high-speed 32-bit TMS320F28035 digital signal processor,small ATtiny series AVR microcontroller,TCD132 D linear array CCD and high-brightness LED are adopted to form the electronic control system,so as to realize the miniaturization and high-rate detection design requirements of the photoelectric diameter detection device.The processing of reflection mode parallel light tube and LED light source is innovatively designed to solve the problem of parallel light output quality in small space.The test results show that the performance of the prototype meets the technical requirements.Finally,some engineering problems of the photoelectric diameter(circumference)detection device are discussed,and the improvement direction is proposed.
