As the geometric parameters of ceramic tiles,side length,thickness,straight angle,warpage and so on have crucial influences on the quality evaluation of ceramic tiles.According to the National Standard of GB/T 3810.2-2016 "Test methods of ceramic tiles – Determination of dimensions and surface quality",the ceramic tiles are tested by the quality inspection department using the specified tester manually.The measuring process is cumbersome and inefficient and with lower measuring accuracy.The backward detection method seriously affects the work efficiency of the inspection department,and also restricts the domestic inspection technology development.In order to make up for the shortcomings of the inspection department for detecting ceramic tiles,a ceramic tiles geometric parameters measuring device combined with multi-axis synchronous motion control technology and sensor testing technology is designed in this paper,and its motion control system is studied.This paper reviewed the advantages and disadvantages of existing ceramic tile inspection technologies,the basis and development of motion control technology based on automated detection devices.According to the design requirements,the overall scheme and implementation method of ceramic tile geometry parameters measurement device were detail determined.The motion control design method of ceramic tile geometric quantity parameters measuring device,the selection and use of motion control module,and the software design of motion control program were described in detail.The relative measurement method compared with the standard tile was adopted,and the geometric parameters of the target ceramic tile were calculated by the change of the sensor readings after the standard tile and the target tile are tested.By using the synchronous motion controller and motion error compensation technology,the 50-?m order positioning accuracy of the tile and displacement sensor was realized.At the end of the paper,the stability and feasibility test of the measuring device were carried out,and the experimental results were analyzed.
