The Pipeline transportation rise of high-tech in recent years. It plays a more and more important role in the transport of mining, oil, natural gas and other resources. At present, our country emphasis on energy conservation and emissions reduction projects and increase investment, pipeline has become one of the most important mode in transportation of iron ore concentrate. But due to the mineral ttansport pipelines are laid in the mountainous of complex terrain area, and these are high risk area of natural disasters as earthquake, debris flow and landslide. Pipeline cumulative displacement cause by disasters could cause the phenomenon of pipeline rupture. Fracture phenomenon such as event, not only caused serious influence capacity of pipeline project and economic losses, but also cause pollution of the surrounding environment. Therefore, research how to real-time monitoring displacement of the pipeline, to ensure the safety of the pipeline, running smoothly has important significance.In view of the above problem, it needs to be installed some reliable monitoring equipment and communications equipment in the pipeline to real-time monitoring displacement of the pipeline. But, because the poses of pipeline, displacement does not necessarily occur in a single direction, and the reference point is not easy to choose, maybe move with the pipe, the traditional linear displacement sensor is no longer applicable. And the topography is complex, the traditional way of communication hard to wiring, so the wired communication mode is no longer applicable. Therefore, this article puts forward a pipeline displacement detection system based on ZigBee wireless sensor network and MEMS sensor. MEMS 6 axis motion sensors were used to detect pipeline displacement, and through the ZigBee wireless sensor network to upload data. System transmitted data to the upper machine finally, and the upper machine can display, processing and preservation data. It can warning when beyond the threshold.In this paper, the specific work and innovations are as follows:1) This system choose ZigBee 2007/PRO communication protocol and the Mesh network topology. Design the system network topology base on the basic requirements and actual working condition. ZigBee wireless sensor network leave out the trouble of along wiring, easy installation, which can realize node hops and network self-healing function, to ensure data transmission if middle of a node go wrong.2) This paper designed the system node hardware platform. System adopt MEMS 6 axis motion sensor MPU6050 measuring displacement of pipeline, and contrapose the drawback of displacement measure method use MEMS accelerometer, puts forward a improved way. System joined the transmission power control method in the data acquisition terminal, in order to achieve the purpose of reducing energy consumption.3) System design the ZigBee Network node software and PC software, which can be display and save displacement data all the nodes along the pipeline. PC software can set threshold, it can warning when beyond the threshold.Final results of the experiment show that the system has the function of wireless communication stability, and satisfy the basic requirement of measuring displacement, especially the cumulative displacement and displacement of emergency alarm function can make the pipeline operation more safe and reliable.This system has small volume, light weight, high integration, low power consumption, low cost of development, so it has well promotion and application value.
