In this work,seventeen transition metals coordination polymers?CPs?based on a naphthalene-bridged bis-pyridyl-bis-amide main ligand N,N?-bis?4-methylenepyridin-4-yl?-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxamide?4-bmpnd?and various polycarboxylates,?2-HNBA=2-Nitrobenzoic acid,5-H2MIP=5-methylisophthalic acid,5-H2NIP=5-nitroisophthalic acid,5-H2AIP=5-aminoisophthalic acid,1,4-H2CHDC=1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid,1,4-H2NDC=1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid,1.4-Phenylenediacetic acid,H2BA=2-[?4-Carboxymethylphenoxy?methyl]benzoic acid,1,3,5-H3BTC=1,3,5-Benzenetricarboxylic acid,H4BTA=1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid?as co-ligands have been constructed by hydrothermal/solvothermal method.Their structures are characterized by Single-crystal X-ray diffraction Infrared spectra and Powder X-ray diffraction.The photocatalytic properties,fluorescent behaviors and electrochemical behaviors of these coordination polymers materials were studied.1.The naphthalene-bridged bis-amide-bis-pyridyl ligand?4-bmpnd?and different organic carboxylic acids as co-ligands were used to assembly with the transition metal Co under hydrothermal/solvent-thermal conditions,and eight new CoII coordination polymers were obtained.The effects of organic carboxylic acid ligands on the structures of the complexes were discussed.The photocatalytic properties of complexes 1-8 were studied.[Co?4-bmnpd??5-HMIP?2?H2O?2]?1?[Co?4-bmnpd??5-HNIP?2?H2O?2]?2?[Co2?4-bmnpd?2?5-NIP??H2O?]·2H2O?3?[Co?4-bmnpd??5-NIP?]?4?[Co2?4-bmnpd??5-AIP?2?H2O?]·2H2O?5?[Co?4-bmnpd?0.5?1,4-CHDC?]·H2O?6?[Co?4-bmnpd??1.4-NDC??H2O?]?7?[Co2?4-bmnpd?2?1,2,4,5-BTA??H2O?2]?8?Complex 1 and 2 are isomorphs,the 4-bmnpd ligand adopting?2-bridging mode links the CoII anions to yield a 1D linear structure.Complex 3 displays 2D4-connected wave network.Complex 4 is a 2D 5-connected network.Complex 5exhibits a 2D sandwich shaped structure.Complex 6 can be described as a4-connected stepped structure.Complexes 7 and 8 show two different 3D frameworks.Complex 7 shows a 4-connected 3D cds framework with topological symbol of{65.8}.Complex 8 is a?4,4?-connected 3D framework with{4.64.8}2{42.104}topology.2.The naphthalene-bridged bis-amide-bis-pyridyl ligand?4-bmpnd?and different organic carboxylic acids co-ligands were used to assembly with the transition metals Zn/Cd under hydrothermal/solvent-thermal conditions,and five new ZnII/CdII coordination polymers were obtained.The fluorescent behaviors of the five coordination polymers have been investigated.[Cd?4-bmnpd?0.5?2-NBA?2]?9?[Cd3O?4-bmnpd??PHDA?3?H2O?]·H2O?10?[Cd?4-bmnpd??BA??H2O?]?11?[Zn?4-bmnpd??5-MIP?]?12?[Zn?4-bmnpd?(?1,2,4,5-BTA?]·H2O?13?Complexes 9-11 are based on CdII coordination polymer.Complex 9 is 2D network formed by 4-bmnpd ligands and metal ions,in which 4-bmnpd ligands adopting a?4-bridging mode.Complex 10 and 11 are complicated 3D MOF.Complexes 12 and 13 are based on the metal ZnII coordination polymers.Complex12 is a 1D porous structure.Complex 13 is a 2D porous structure.3.The naphthalene-bridged bis-amide-bis-pyridyl ligand?4-bmpnd?and different organic carboxylic acids co-ligands were used to assembly with the transition metal Ni under hydrothermal/solvent-thermal conditions,and four NiIII coordination polymers were obtained.The electrochemical and electrocatalytic behaviors of four NiII coordination polymers have been investigated.[Ni?4-bmnpd??5-MIP?2?H2O?2]]?14?[Ni?4-bmnpd??1,3,5-H2BTC?2?H2O?2]?15?[Ni?4-bmnpd??5-NIP??H2O?2]·3H2O?16?[Ni2?4-bmnpd?2?BA?2?H2O?4]?17?Complexes 14-16 are 1D structure,in which 14 and 15 are homogeneous,display the 1D linear structure,complex 16 is tubular 1D chain structure.Complex17 is 2D network structure,which indicating that organic carboxylic acid have influence on the structure of the complexes.
