Nowadays,the coordination polymers based on tripodal polycarboxylic acid ligand s have become a heated topic of coordination chemistry,which was due to their pote ntial applications in molecular recognition,magnetism,optical sensors,catalysis.By hy drothermal method,twenty complexes were synthesized based on the 3,5-bis(2-carboxy-phenoxy)-benzoic acid(H3BCPB),and were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffr action analysis,IR spectroscopy,elemental analysis,powder X-ray diffraction and ther mogravimetric analysis.At the same time,the complexes 1 and 2 have been determin ed by fluorescence spectrum,the magnetic properties of complexes 1,2,6,9,10,11 were investigated.The famulas of 120 are as follows: {[Cu3(BCPB)(HBCPB)(H2BCPB)(H2O)]·(CH3OH)(H2O)}n(1){[Cd(HBCPB)(1,4-bib)1.5]·4H2O}n(2)[Zn2(BCPB)(OH)(H2O)] n(3){[Zn2(BCPB)(OH)(H2O)2]·(CH3OH)}n(4)[Mn(HBCPB)(4,4-bibp)2(H2O)]n(5)[Cu(HBCPB)]n(6){[Cu1.5(BCPB)(1,3-bibm)1.5]·(DMF)}n(7){[Cu(HBCPB)(1,2-bibm)]·(H2O)}n(8)[M3(BCPB)2(4,4’-biby)3·(H2O)2]n(910)[M=Co(9),Mn(10)] {[M3(BCPB)2(BI)2]·2H2O}n(1112)[M=Co(11),Zn(12)] {[La(BCPB)(H2O)3]·H2O }n(13){[La2(BCPB)2(H2O)2]·2H2O }n(14)[M(BCPB)(H2O)(DMF)]n(1516)[M=Eu(15),Nd(16)] [M(BCPB)(H2O)2]n(1720)[M=Eu(17),Nd(18),Ce(19),La(20)]Complex 1 is a(3,3,5,6)-connected 2D network structure,the 2D network packed into a three-dimensional supramolecular structure through hydrogen–bonding interactions.Polymer 2 is a 4-connected 3D dia framework.Complexes 3 and 4 are one-dimensional chain.5 is a zero dimensional structure.Complex 6 exhibits a(3,6)-connected 3D network structure Complex 7 is a 2D network structure.8 is a zero dimensional cage structure.9 and 10 are(3,4,6)-connected 3D network structure.11 and 12 are(3,6)-connected 2D network structure.13 is double nuclear two-dimensional structure.14 is multinuclear two-dimensional structure 15 and 16 are 3D porose structure.17 20 are(4,8)-connected 2D network structure.
