Traditional handmade embroidery has the advantages of smooth lines,lively stitches,rich colors,strong sense of hierarchy,and unique style.However,its defects are also relatively obvious,such as low output and high prices.Therefore,machine embroidery came into being under the market's impetus,effectively avoiding the defects of hand embroidery.However,the existing machine embroidery products are constrained by hardware and software,and the embroidery is relatively rigid and deliberate.Therefore,how to break through the process limitations of machine embroidery products and make the machine embroidery needles achieve the effect of hand embroidery is an urgent problem to be solved.The research of this paper was inspired by the random needling embroidery(a kind of hand embroidery)combined with painting and embroidery.This subject takes computer machine embroidery products as the research object,draws on sketch works and pointillism painting principles,and uses monochrome "basic point needle" as the basic unit of embroidery.Replacing the pen with a needle,expressing the light and dark effect by imitating the flexibility of the sketch line,relying on the change of gray level to express the object image.This subject first analyzes the factors that affect the gray value of the stitch pattern,explores its effect on the gray value of the stitch pattern by changing the base point needle size,number and stitch spacing,etc.Then through the process of segmentation and color separation and grayscale processing,the selection of stitching parameters for different image features was explored,and the stitch patterns were layered and combined and superimposed for pattern embroidery.Make machine embroidery products have the freehand effect of sketch style.The specific implementation steps are as follows: First,by changing the base point needle size,base point needle pitch,base point needle arrangement,stitch coverage and other series of stitch proofing experiments,explore its influence on the gray value of the stitch,and derive the quantitative Regularity,so as to control the change of the gray value of the stitch,and then control the color depth of the machine embroidery product;then,the embroidery image is partitioned according to the mechanism,area,gray size,etc.,and the stitching parameters suitable for different regional characteristics are explored.The research results show that: The stitch coverage is negatively correlated with the gray value of the embroidery pattern.When the coverage is determined,change the stitch length,stitch size,etc.,and the gray value of the stitch remains unchanged;Large-area images with no details can use point stitch with larger side lengths or point stitch with larger stitch pitches.Images that require fine drawing can use smaller point stitch or stitch with smaller stitch pitches,and the point stitch directionality is related to the ratio of the point stitch size and the stitch length;Obtain the relationship between the stitch pitch of the point stitch and the side length;the relationship between the shape of the point stitch and the fill rate of the stitch;and the relationship between the size of the point stitch,the stitch pitch and the direction of the stitch.Proofing machine embroidery products according to the determined stitching method.And two series of random needle machine embroidery patterns are designed and developed,which are used to decorate home textiles and face mask products,enhance the beauty and cultural connotation of the products,and enhance their added value.
