Chalcohalide glass is formed by introduce element halogen or halide to chalcogenide glass.It has the advantages of both chalcogenide glass and halide glass,such as good physical properties and chemical stability.Ge-based glass is the most concerned system in traditional chalcogenide glass.Ge and Ga have similar structures in chalcogenide glass,but Ga is much cheaper than Ge,therefore,it is necessary to research and develop Ga-based chalcohalide glass.In this paper,optical properties and ionic conductivity of several Ga-based chalcogenide glasses are studied.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Composition of(Ga2S3-80Sb2S3)0.8(XI)0.2(X=PbI2,CsI,AgI)chalcogenide glasses were prepared by traditional vacuum melting method.The result showed transmission range and the thermal stability of the XI-doped glass are improved with the introduction of different halides.In the halide-Dy3+co-doped samples,the sample of PbI2-doped and CsI-doped chalcogenide glasses obtained an increase in infrared fluorescence performance compared to the matrix glass.(2)Novel glasses in a Ga2S3-Sb2S3-AgI system were prepared with a melt-quenching method,and their glass-forming region was identified.The maximum dissolvable AgI in glasses was 65 mol%.The Ga2S3-Sb2S3-AgI glasses possess a wide region of transmission window(0.65-14 ?m).An ionic conductivity of approximately 1.01×10-3 S/cm can be obtained for a 40(0.8Sb2S3-0.2Ga2S3)-60AgI glass at an ambient temperature,and the ionic conductivity increased as temperature increased.(3)The glass-ceramics of AgI-based elechroconductive chalcogenide system was realized using an appropriate heat treatment at a fairly high temperature(Tg+40?)and different times ranging from 4 to 20 h.The heat treatment time was 4 h,8 h,12 h,16 h and 20 h,respectively.The XRD and scanning electron microscopy results indicated that the precipitated crystalline phases are mainly ?-/?-AgI.M oreover,a small amount of?-AgI,which rarely existed at room temperature,is precipitated in the AgI-rich chalcogenide glass-ceramics.The ionic conductivity of all glass ceramics was enhanced about by heat treatment in contrast to that of base glass.Among them,the ionic conductivity of glass ceramic solid electrolyte heat-treated for 12 h is about 3 times higher than that of the glass fast ion conductor matrix,and the ion conductivity is effectively improved.
