A company is a chemical company,and the major product is diethyl carbonate with an annual output of 25,000 tons.Moreover,A is the world's largest manufacturer of diethyl carbonate.In recent years,the demand of diethyl carbonate shows a rapid growth in the international market.However,the manufacturers of diethyl carbonate have swiftly increased following in wake of downstream market development which eventually result in the market competition aggravating.The international market position and market share of A company have been subject to some extent of challenge.Therefore,it is meaningful for the international market development of enterprise that the international marketing strategy should be reorganized and reanalyzed.Based on the theories of international marketing and marketing,this dissertation not only elaborates the main international target market and the current international marketing strategy of diethyl carbonate in A company,but also analyzes the existing problems and reasons.Analysed and summaried the marketing environment by SWOT analysis tool.Then clarified the target market strategy of A company.The breakdown of international market and selection of the target market for diethyl carbonate in A company,despite the mature markets of Japan and South Korea,the European and American markets also are confirmed for international target market.In addition,points out the improvement measures from the aspect of product,price,place and promotion.Finally,the supporting measures are offered for A company's international marketing strategy of diethyl carbonate: cultivating high-level marketing employees,developing the new marketing modes based on the internet,strictly regulating the business processes and strengthening the examination and positive motivation for marketers.
