Phenol wastewater mainly comes from oil refineries, coking plants, steel processing and other fields. As a typical refractory organic wastewater,it has the characteristics of great harm, large number and wide sources, and must be effectively treated.Physical method, biological method, chemical method and other methods are common methods for treating phenol wastewater. As a new type of advanced oxidation method, persulfate advanced oxidation method has been the research hotspot in recent years. Its main active substance is sulfate radical?SO4-·?,which has strong oxidizing ability and can be used for various organic The pollutants undergo effective oxidative degradation.Agricultural waste corn straw is rich in cellulose, which can be extracted and used as catalyst carrier. In this thesis, corn stover is used as raw material to extract cellulose,CuO/cellulose is used as catalyst, phenol wastewater is treated, and sodium persulfate is used as oxidant to catalyze the oxidation of simulated phenol wastewater.Single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment were used to study the extraction of cellulose, preparation of catalyst and degradation of simulated phenol wastewater by CuO/cellulose catalyst.BET and SEM test methods were used to characterize the catalyst performance;methanol and tert-butanol were used as SO4-·and·OH scavengers for quenching experiments, and GC-MS was used to detect phenol degradation intermediates, and CuO+sodium persulfate The mechanism of degradation of phenol wastewater by the system was analyzed. The following conclusions are obtained through experimental research:1.The best extraction conditions of corn stover cellulose are:nitric acid-ethanol mixture?20%:80%?,the material ratio is 1:25?g/mL?,and the boiling water bath at 100?is 4h.2.The best preparation conditions for CuO/cellulose are:copper nitrate concentration of 0.2mol/L,immersion time of 6h,roasting temperature of 200?,and roasting time of 2h.3.The optimal oxidation experiment conditions for the degradation of sodium persulfate catalyzed by CuO/cellulose are:CuO/cellulose dosage 4g/L,sodium persulfate dosage 2g/L,pH 6 and reaction temperature 40 At?,the average degradation rate of phenol and CODcr was 89.43%and 84.27%when the reaction time was 10h.4.BET and SEM analysis. The results show that the surface pores of the catalyst structure are reduced, and the protrusions are increased, which indicates that CuO is supported on activated carbon, and the pore size and specific surface area become larger, indicating that calcination affects the structure of the catalyst.5.The degradation process of phenol conforms to the first-order kinetic equation, the equation is:y=0.1987x+0.0052.6.The mechanism analysis shows that:SO4-·and·OH are produced in the CuO+sodium persulfate system, and under their combined action, the phenol wastewater is degraded. The thesis research has practical significance for the utilization of agricultural waste corn stover and the treatment of phenol wastewater.
