The combustion temperature and flame intensity of the thermite in the combustion process are important factors that affect its combustion effect and application performance.In addition,the thermite has a very broad application prospect in the military and civilian fields.According to the combustion theory of pyrotechnics,combined with the research status of aluminothermic agents at home and abroad,it is proposed to add nano-iron oxides to the thermite to improve the combustion performance of the thermite.The preparation process of nano-iron oxides was studied by using metal nitrate as oxdidant,water-soluble hydrazine fuel as reducing agent and metal complex as dispersing agent.Nano-NiFe2O4 powder with good dispersibility was successfully prepared by self-propagating combustion method.The grain size and crystal structure of the products were analyzed by SEM,XRD and TEM.Finally,the optimal process conditions were established.The prepared nano-NiFe2O4 powder has a particle size of 40-80 nm,and the product has a uniform particle size distribution and good dispersibility.NiFe2O4 can improve combustion performance in military pyrotechnics.The nano-NiFe2O4 powder was added into the Al/Fe2O3 base formulation and the Al/Fe3O4 base formulation.The thermite was prepared by compression molding.The combustion temperature and combustion effect of the thermite containing nano-NiFe2O4 powder were studied.Through the design of a large number of formulations of aluminothermic agents,the optimal formulation of the thermite has been established,the temperature of which can reach above 2600°C.In addition,the A3 steel plate with a thickness of 6 mm can be also quickly penetrated,indicating that damage effect is excellent.The infrared radiation characteristics and regularity of the thermite with nano-NiFe2O4powder in the range of 35?m and 814?m were studied.By studying the infrared radiation properties of Al/Fe3O4 series thermite,it was found that with the content of NiFe2O4 increase,the radiation area of the drug gradually increases.The radiance of the agent in the range of35?m increases with the increase of the ratio of NiFe2O4.The radiance of the agent increases with the increase of the ratio of NiFe2O4.But the radiation brightness of the reagent in this band is less than that of Al/Fe3O4 thermite.By studying the infrared radiation properties of Al/Fe2O3 series of thermite,with the increase of the ratio of NiFe2O4,the radiation area of the agent generally showed an increasing trend;the radiance of the agent at 35?m generally increased with the proportion of NiFe2O4.The radiant brightness of the agent increased with the increase of the ratio of NiFe2O4;the radiant brightness of the agent was smaller than that of the Al/Fe2O3 aluminum heat agent in the band of 35?m and 814?m.
