Due to the strong surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)coupling effect between noble metals and plasma semiconductors,metal-semiconductor hybrid materials will produce better performance compared with single materials.Thus,one of the most widely used strategies for preparing reagents with excellent performance is the construction of metal-semiconductor hybrid.Among them,noble metal Au and selfdoped copper sulfide(such as Cu9S8)are a kind of common hybrid material with surface plasmon resonance coupling effect.Therefore,based on the surface plasmon resonance coupling effect of the Au-Cu9S8 heterojunction,we designed and developed two highperformance diagnostic reagents.Details are as follows:Part I: Due to endogenous hydrogen sulfide is highly expressed in colon cancer,the endogenous hydrogen sulfide triggered smart theranositic agents have attracted great attention.However,the currently developed smart diagnostic agents limit their further application due to the lower performance after being triggered.Based on the surface plasmon resonance coupling effect of the Au-Cu9S8 hybrid,the Au@Cu2O hybrid was developed as a high-performance smart theranostic agents triggered by hydrogen sulfide to improve the diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic effect of colon cancer.Compared with Cu2 O alone,the prepared H2S-triggered Au@Cu2O showed significantly stronger absorption in the near-infrared region,such as a 2.1 times increase in absorption at 808 nm and a 1.2 times increase in photothermal conversion efficiency.More importantly,even at very low injection doses,Au@Cu2O still shows good photoacoustic imaging and photothermal therapy.Part II: The self-doped copper sulfide exhibits better Fenton-like reaction catalytic properties compared with Fe2+-based Fenton reaction due to the two valence states of +1 and +2 of Cu.However,the effects of chemical kinetics based on copper sulfide still need to be further improved.Based on the surface plasmon resonance coupling effect,the Au-Cu9S8 hybrid was prepared with enhanced near infrared absorption,especially in second near infrared region.Hence,the contrast of the second near infrared PA imaging are more obviously.Meanwhile,the chemical kinetic treatment effect was improved also due to the enhanced second near infrared photothermal performance.
