Development And Research Of Naphthenic Base Transformer Oil

Transformer oil refers to a kind of oil used in oil-filled electrical equipment such as transformer and reactor.Transformer oil is combined with base oil and additives,and it mainly play the role of cooling,insulation and arc in the electrical equipment.Compared with the paraffin crude,naphthenic crude has lower wax content,lower pour point,lower viscosity index and better chemical compatibility,which make the naphthenic base distillate become quality raw material for transformer oil.From the current development,it is widely recognized to use naphthenic base distillate to produce transformer oil.And the state grid company requires that transformers with more than 330 Kv must use the naphthenic ring alkyl transformer oil.In order to utilize the naphthenic distillate rationally,the 2nd line atmospheric distillate of a naphthenic crude was used as raw material to develop transformer oil.The main research work and results are as follows:According to the actual condition of production equipment,two process routes were designed to prepare transformer base oil: high pressure total hydrogenation process and hydrogenation deacidification-furfural refining-clay combination process.The base oil that meets the requirement was obtained by explore the conditions of the two processes.Meanwhile,furfural extract oil is blended into the transformer oil to increase the additional value of extract oil.The additives are screened and compounded,including the selection of the antioxidant and the anti-gassing tendency compound.Through the oxidative stability test and gassing tendency test,the optimal additive system rate was determined.Blending the L2,A3 and di-aromatics into the base oil can produce the transformer oil that meets the requirement of GB 2536-2011.The relationship between the composition and property of transformer oil was explored.The key factors affecting the product quality was acquired by investigating the influence factor of breakdown voltage,dielectric loss factor,oxidation resistance and anti-gassing tendency of the transformer oil produced by different process.The application performance of two kinds of domestic transformer oil and two same kinds of foreign transformer oil was studied.The performance data of four kinds of transformer oil are basically consistent.
