| On October 18,2017,the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly stated that it should "promote the protection of the Yangtze River by taking a large-scale protection and not relying on large-scale development" and adhere to "ecological priority and green development." In May 2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the National Ecological Environmental Protection Conference that "accelerate the establishment and improvement of an ecological economic system with industrial ecology and ecological industrialization as the mainstay." As a new support belt for China’s economy and a complete green ecological corridor,the Yangtze River Economic Belt is highly compatible with its economic status and ecological status.At the same time,whether it is manufacturing or service industry,the Yangtze River Economic Belt has formed an obvious industrial agglomeration.Industrial agglomeration,as the most dynamic spatial organization,is also a space carrier for polluting the environment and closely related to the quality of the ecological environment.Therefore,exploring the impact of industrial agglomeration on industrial ecologicalization is of great significance to the promotion of high-quality development under the “ecological priority,green development” strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Based on the theoretical basis and the research results,this paper uses the location quotient and entropy method to measure the industrial agglomeration and industrial ecological level of the 2005-2017 Yangtze River Economic Belt,and conducts in-depth analysis;based on the external perspective of industrial agglomeration,The theoretical framework of industrial agglomeration on industrial ecologicalization is constructed,and on this basis,the impact of industrial agglomeration on industrial ecological level is empirically analyzed.Concluded as follow:First,the industrial agglomeration of the Yangtze River Economic Belt presents a wave-like change trend of “first rise,then fall and then rise”,and the level of manufacturing agglomeration in each region presents different characteristics,while the level of service industry agglomeration is characterized by wave-shaped changes,subdivided from the service industry.In terms of the level of industrial agglomeration,the level of agglomeration in the producer service industry has shown a trend of “first rising and then falling”,while the level of agglomeration of the life service industry is growing,and the level of agglomeration of the public service industry is not large,and it is in the upper,middle,and The downstream areas have differentiated features.At the same time,the level of synergy between manufacturing and service industries and sub-sectors declined.Secondly,from the time series and spatial changes,the status quo of industrial ecology in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is analyzed.The results show that the overall industrial ecological level of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is steadily rising,and it presents a spatial pattern of “lower,medium,and weak”.The upper,middle and lower reaches of the region show obvious characteristics of “fracture” of industrial ecological level,while the internal provinces and cities in the upper,middle and lower reaches are less different.Third,from the empirical results of the impact of industrial agglomeration on the level of industrial ecologicalization,it is found that manufacturing agglomeration is not conducive to the improvement of industrial ecological level,and there is an inverted "U" relationship between manufacturing agglomeration and industrial ecological level;Conducive to the improvement of industrial ecological level.From the perspective of sub-sectors,the impact of agglomeration of productive service industry on the level of industrial ecologicalization is significantly positive,while the concentration of life service industry has a significant impact on the level of industrial ecologicalization.Public service industry The impact is not significant;the synergy between manufacturing and service industry has a significant impact on the industrial ecological level.In particular,the synergy of manufacturing and production services will help to improve the level of industrial ecology,and the synergy between manufacturing and life services.Agglomeration is not conducive to the improvement of industrial ecological level,and the synergy of manufacturing and public service industry is not significant.Fourth,environmental regulation has no significant impact on industrial ecologicalization,and the improvement of economic development level,the improvement of marketization level and the improvement of terminal governance level are all conducive to the improvement of industrial ecological level,while the increase of foreign trade dependence has an inhibitory effect on industrial ecologicalization.Based on the above conclusions,in order to bring into play the industrial agglomeration effect of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and improve the industrial ecological level,five suggestions are proposed: First,strengthen industrial ecological agglomeration and strengthen the construction of ecological industrial clusters.Second,promote heterogeneous industrial agglomeration and bring into play the positive environmental effects of high-quality agglomeration.Third,adhere to the concept of industrial symbiosis and create a high-quality industrial ecological development model.Fourth,optimize the internal structure of the service industry and promote the ecological agglomeration of the service industry.Fifth,fully mobilize a variety of resource elements to enhance the level of industrial ecology. |
