In this paper,emulsion polymerization was used to prepare a PBA rubber core with a design structure,and based on this,an impact modifier(AIM modifier)was prepared,and the prepared AIM modifier was melted with PVC,PC and PMMA resins.Blend.Using the impact tester,dynamic mechanical thermal analyzer(DMA)and scanning electron microscope(SEM)and other testing methods,the properties of the blend and the change of toughness mechanism were studied.By changing the amount of EGDMA,ALMA and the distribution of ALMA in the rubber layer of PBA rubber particles in AIM,we investigated how the composition of PBA affects the grafting performance of AIM,and explored the composition of PBA in AIM on PVC,PC and PMMA The effect of toughening performance to further understand the effect of rubber phase composition on the evolution of toughening mechanism of matrix resins with different molecular chain entanglement densities.Observation through microscopic morphology: it shows that the AIM modifier particles with structural design can be well dispersed in various matrix resins.The SEM pictures of the deformation zone of the blend of AIM with PVC,PC and PMMA resin show that AIM particles are at high speed Under impact conditions,the fracture energy is mainly dissipated through the deformation and failure of the rubber particles,and the phenomena of rubber phase cavitation and matrix resin shear yield can be observed in the deformation zone.The effect of rubber phase composition and matrix resin molecular chain entanglement density on the toughening mechanism is described.Studies have shown that the amount of PBA crosslinking agent in AIM has little effect on the grafting performance of the AIM shell.The increase in the amount of grafting agent will improve the grafting effect of the AIM shell.The concentration of the grafting agent during the PBA diameter expansion process can be controlled Improve the grafting performance of the shell layer of the AIM modifier without increasing the cross-linking reaction conditions;the degree of cross-linking of the rubber phase in the AIM modifier plays a key role in the toughening of the matrix resin.The modifier with the same amount of cross-linking agent The toughening effect of matrix resins(PVC,PC,PMMA)with different chain entanglement densities is different;under impact conditions,the volume expansion of rubber particles under triaxial stress is limited by the degree of cross-linking,and the rubber particles become hollow The released energy acts on the matrix resin with different chain entanglement densities,the range of the stress field formed and whether they overlap and interact are the main factors for effective toughening.
