China's coal reserves rank the third in the world,but coal mining and consumption occupy the first place in the world.However,the continuous decline in coal prices and the rising costs in recent years have caused a huge negative impact on the overall income generation capacity of coal enterprises,which directly affects the profits of enterprises.Wuhushan Coal Mine 10#coal quality has recently changed,which has caused various problems in the coal preparation process and caused huge economic losses to Wuhushan Mining company.The paper takes 10#coal of Wuhushan Coal Mine as the research object,and optimizes the separation process of Wuhushan Coal Preparation Plant.First,the physical properties of Wuhushan Coal Mine 10#coal were studied to grasp its basic properties,and then in order to grasp the composition of each particle size and density of raw coal,a systematic large-scale screening and floatation test was conducted.Then determine the sorting performance of the existing equipment through stand-alone testing and monthly comprehensive data,and establish a sorting prediction model more accurately.Then conduct a small screening test and a series of laboratory flotation tests on the flotation feed coal slime to determine the floatability of 10#coal and the main factors affecting the floatability of the coal slime.Afterwards,according to the muddy water flocculation settlement supernatant turbidity problem,the natural settlement and flocculation settlement of the coal slime water in the laboratory were carried out,and the main factors affecting the settlement were clearly defined.Finally,combined with the characteristics of Wuhushan Coal Preparation Plant,a specific plan for optimization and separation was proposed.?1?In terms of physical and chemical properties of raw coal,through industrial analysis,element analysis,process property analysis and CO2 reactivity analysis of 10#raw coal in Wuhushan coal mine,the raw coal is high sulfur main coking coal with high metamorphic degree and belongs to high thermal stability coal.?2?The actual yields of clean coal,medium coal and gangue of 10#raw coal of Wuhushan Coal Preparation Plant are?j=58.82%,?z=18.21%,?g=22.97%,and ash content is 9.27%,38.71%and 69.60%,respectively.The three-product heavy medium cyclone separation quantity efficiency is 86.9%,the separation densities of the first and second sections are 1.48 and 1.92kg/cm3,and the possible deviation of one section is0.06kg/cm3,which meets the design criteria of heavy medium separation.The sorting effect is better.The possible deviation of the second stage is 0.13g/cm3,which is higher than the design standard of heavy media separation,and the separation effect is poor.?3?In terms of slime flotation,through single factor optimization test and orthogonal test and other research methods,it is concluded that if the flotation feed of10#coal in Wuhushan coal preparation plant is to ensure the low refined coal ash content and high refined coal yield,it is necessary to increase the amount of foaming agent,reduce the amount of flotation concentration,collector and air charge.?4?In terms of flocculation and sedimentation of slime water,according to the single factor optimization test of agents,it is found that the problem of flocculation and sedimentation of Wuhushan coal preparation plant is that the pH value of slime water solution is slightly acidic,so two optimization schemes are proposed,one is to improve the pH value of slime water solution in the concentration tank,the other is to use new agents to reduce the impact of pH value on flocculation and sedimentation.According to the research results,Wuhushan Coal Preparation Plant can predict the actual effect of heavy medium separation,slime flotation and slime water flocculation and settling factors,so as to optimize each separation link and improve the separation process of the coal preparation plant.Improve the production efficiency of the coal preparation plant.
