In the environment where countries around the world are actively developing low-carbon economies to guide low-carbon consumption, how to guide residents to implement low-carbon consumption has attracted close attention from countries around the world.Earlier,China focused on material production and material production services. In this regard, many energy-saving measures and strategies have been implemented. At present, our country is in the stage of rapid development of urbanization. There is an opposite relationship between economic development and energy saving and consumption reduction, and there is also a opposite relationship between promoting consumption and energy saving and consumption reduction. Therefore, from the perspective of economy and residents' consumption,it is the key measure to reduce the carbon emission of residents' consumption and then ease the pressure of carbon emission in our country to deeply analyze which factors affect the change of carbon emission of residents' living consumption in our province. This paper first uses the carbon emission factor method and the input-output method to measure the direct and indirect carbon emissions of the domestic consumption of the province residents. And selected three indicators of residential carbon consumption,GDP and residential energy consumption, using panel clustering method to divide the provinces in China. Then, the Theil coefficient was used to measure the contribution rate of the difference in carbon emissions from domestic consumption of different types of provincial residents, and to compare the intra-class and inter-class differences of carbon emissions from different types of provincial residents.Furthermore,it discusses the specific situation of carbon emission convergence of domestic consumption carbon emissions of residents in China and the three major provinces. Finally, the STIRPAT model is used to analyze the influencing factors of carbon emissions from domestic consumption in China. At the same time, the extent to which these factors influence the carbon consumption of living consumption of different types of provinces is also discussed in depth. The research finds that:(1)By establishing a multi-indicator panel clustering model for the three indicators of residential carbon consumption,GDP and residential energy consumption, three different types of provinces were obtained. The carbon emissions of residents in the third category of provinces are much higher than the other two types of provinces, and the carbon emissions intensity of residents' consumption is the highest, followed by the second category of provinces.(2)By studying the convergence of carbon emission of household consumption in China and three major provinces,we can find that the carbon emission of household consumption in China and three major provinces is characterized by "overall divergence and local convergence".As far as the change of total carbon emission of household consumption is concerned, only the change of total carbon emission of household consumption of the whole country and the first and second provinces has a conditional ? convergence trend. As far as the change of carbon emission intensity of residents' living consumption is concerned, only the change of carbon emission intensity of residents' living consumption in the whole country and the second and third provinces has a conditional ? convergence trend.(3)Using the STIRPAT model, this essay deeply analyzes the factors that affect the change of carbon emission of residents' living consumption in our province, and finds that: in the static panel regression model, the population size, urbanization rate, per capita disposable income and consumption level of the whole country and three major provinces all have a significant role in promoting carbon emission of residents' living consumption. In the dynamic panel regression model, after adding the lag time, the consumption structure of residents in various provinces has a significant inhibitory effect. In this essay, there are 19 figures,24 tables, and 108 references.
