At present,most of the wood pulp raw materials used by domestic manufacturers in the production of cellulose acetate are imported products.The single source of raw materials and the single variety of raw materials have advantages and disadvantages.On the one hand,the production process is stable,the product quality data is reliable,and the product quality is excellent.On the other hand,the raw materials are easily affected by external factors,resulting in price fluctuations.If we want to solve the problem,we must improve the technology,use different raw materials for production,and ensure the consistency of product quality,which can not only improve the selectivity of raw materials,but also resist the market fluctuations.Reduce risk.Cellulose diacetate flake made from using different pulps have been found to perform very differently in producing cellulose acetate tow,even though their routine quality specifications are similar.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze different kinds of cellulose diacetate tablets to improve the applicability of each kind of cellulose diacetate tablets,Investigated the relationship between dope viscosities and concentrations of different cellulose diacetate flake and blend cellulose diacetate flake with different intrinsic viscosities.The results show that:1.Through the comparison of the longitudinal test results of the intrinsic viscosity and concentration of different cellulose diacetate flake solutions and the viscosity of slurry,The 1/7 power of the acetone solution viscosity(?1/7)of a cellulose diacetate flake has an approximately liner function with the product of intrinsic viscosity and concentration([?]*C).A coefficient was introduced into the Baker-philoppoff equation to obtain an equation which can predict the dope viscosities.This coefficient is dependent on intrinsic viscosity,concentration and type of pulp of the cellulose diacetate flake.In practical production and application,the concentration of slurry is controlled by the known intrinsic viscosity of cellulose diacetate flake tablets,so as to achieve the required viscosity in production and control the quality of the final product.2.Using cellulose diacetate flake with the same variety and different intrinsic viscosities and cellulose diacetate flake with different varieties and different intrinsic viscosities,the intrinsic viscosities of the blended samples were tested.Intrinsic viscosity of a blend of cellulose diacetate flake with different intrinsic viscosities can be calculated as a weighted average of the cellulose diacetate flake comprising the blend,regardless the cellulose diacetate flake being made of the same type or different types of pulps.Therefore,it can be seen that different kinds of cellulose diacetate flake can be mixed in the daily production process to meet the production requirements.3?The molecular weight decreases,but molecular weight distribution remains almost unchanged,with decreasing cellulose diacetate flake intrinsic viscosity.For the cellulose diacetate flake with different intrinsic viscosity that were specially produced using Rayonier hardwood pulp,the haze and accumulated particle counts(?5?m)increase with decreasing cellulose diacetate flake intrinsic viscosity.It indicates that the dissolution capability of cellulose diacetate flake in acetone will get worse.That is to say,the intrinsic viscosity of cellulose diacetate flake will directly affect its solubility,so it is feasible to use intrinsic viscosity as an indicator to guide the preparation of solution.
