The purpose of this study is to design a set of daily capacity of 240 tons of pneumatic conveying system for cellulose diacetate flakes.As a part of the relocation and expansion project of Zhuhai Cellulose Fibers Co.,Ltd.,this system will provide sufficient raw materials for it.This design is based on daily capacity of 120 tons of pneumatic conveying system for cellulose diacetate flakes of Zhuhai Cellulose Fibers Co.,Ltd.For optimization of the design and amplification,the equipment and piping layout,equipment selection,integrated control,dust and explosion,etc.were discussed in detail.The main contents of this design are as following:(1)Optimization of pneumatic conveying system for cellulose diacetate flakes through application of pneumatic conveying technology,including scheme selection,the pneumatic conveying process for cellulose diacetate flakes matched with the relocation and expansion project;(2)The design of equipment and piping layout,equipment selection,and the calculation of resistance loss were carried out based on the established process flow,including the control design of network security system.The pre-evaluation of the whole system indicates that the whole process of the design is reasonable and feasible.The characteristics of this design is as following:(1)Using the suction pressure combined type pneumatic conveying mode,which make the equipment layoutis more compact,the process is more reasonable and simplified;(2)In order to provide accurate and reliable data for the design and selection,the whole pneumatic conveyor is calculated in detail,and the air volume and resistance experiment are carried out on the 120 tons of existing device;(3)The design is more emphasis on integrated control,under the premise of optimizing the shortage of the existing equipment,the integrated control of the network of the system is also increased;(4)The design is more emphasis on security,and the basic research is carried out.The design will provide a preliminary basis for the industrial application of the relocation and expansion project.
