Rolling bearings convert sliding friction into rolling friction,which has the advantages of low friction resistance and high efficiency,so it is widely used in various types of mechanical equipment.With the progress of modern industry,the research of rolling bearings is constantly developing in the direction of heavy load and wear resistance.The traditional single metal bearing is limited by the development of new materials and can no longer meet the requirements of modern machinery.Especially under heavy load conditions,the contact stress between the roller and the raceway is large,which is easy to damage the lubricating oil film,causing bearing failure due to wear and tear.To this end,this thesis takes the inner ring of cylindrical roller bearings as the object to develop the contact characteristics of the layered composite rolling bearing.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the contact theory of the elastomer,the contact deformation capacity and stress condition of cylindrical roller bearing are analyzed,and the contact performance and service life of cylindrical roller bearing are analyzed with the maximum contact stress and contact half width as the main factors.(2)Design layer composite rolling bearing structure model.The inner and outer rings of the bearing are formed in a layer-composite way using two metal materials with different elastic modulus.The surface layer of the raceway in contact with the rolling elements is made of a high elastic modulus material,and the base layer is made of a material with a low elastic modulus.In order to maintain high hardness and high wear resistance,the surface of the inner and outer raceways of the bearing after compounding increases contact deformation and reduces contact stress,which is beneficial to the existence of lubricating oil films,reduces bearing wear,and increases bearing life.(3)Based on the Hertz contact theory and the Boussinesq formula,combined with the elastic contact finite element analysis method,the analysis model of the contact performance of the cylindrical roller bearing is established;then the ANSYS Workbench software is used to analyze the single metal inner ring under load With regard to the contact stress and deformation of the inner layer of the composite metal layer,the influence of the metal material with different elastic modulus and the thickness of the outer layer metal on the contact characteristics of the inner layer of the composite metal layer was investigated.(4)The contact friction testing machine is designed and manufactured,and the contact friction test of single material bearing inner ring,layer composite bearing inner ring and roller is carried out by combining theory and simulation analysis.The results show that the contact trace width of laminate metal inner ring is larger than that of single metal inner ring,and the wear amount is smaller,which proves that the former has better contact deformation capacity.The smaller the equivalent elastic modulus of the bearing inner ring,the better the contact performance.
