With the wide application of power electronics technology in power system,the industrialization process has been promoted to develop rapidly,but the power quality problems caused by it have also attracted much attention.Among them,the most important factors affecting power quality are harmonic pollution and power factor reduction.In order to make the power quality meet the requirements of safety,reliability,high quality and economy,it has far-reaching practical significance to deeply study harmonic suppression technology and reactive power compensation.First of all,aiming at the current situation of harmonic and reactive power in the power system,this paper made in-depth research on harmonic control measures and reactive power compensation principles.For example,a comprehensive compensation scheme of static var compensator(SVC)and LC filters was proposed due to the current harmonic situation in the refinery and the low power factor of the original system.Secondly,due to the shortcomings of static var compensator,such as long response time,high harmonic content and large occupied area,this paper designed and built a static var generator(SVG)model.The main topology diagram of SVG was introduced in detail,and the working principle of voltage type bridge circuit was discussed for mathematical modeling.In the aspect of reactive current detection,i_p-i_qdetection method based on instantaneous reactive power theory was mainly studied,and it had the advantages of fast detection speed,high accuracy and good real-time performance compared with p-q detection method.At the same time,direct current control strategy was adopted,and space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM)technology was selected as the control signal.Finally,the system simulation model was established in Simulink tool,and the simulation waveforms of SVG and SVC under different load conditions are compared.The harmonic suppression and power factor correction effects of the two devices are analyzed to verify that the SVG device is more reliable,faster and more sensitive.
