With the continuous accumulation of scientific knowledge,the deepening of scientific understanding and the application of modern science and technology,such as new spectroscopic methods,molecular beam and laser technology,giant computers and advanced computing methods,theoretical and experimental research in physical chemistry have entered a new stage of development.At the same time,in the context of population and consumption growth,the two major areas of energy and materials are receiving attention in productive life,and green new energy and new materials with good properties are important guarantees for maintaining sustainable development.As a discipline closely related to these two themes,physical chemistry has been able to guide practice to some extent,and has been enriched and developed in practice,and an analytical demonstration of its hotspot dynamics can clarify the development of the discipline in recent years.This study selects the theories and methods applicable to this study based on a large number of scholars on the hotspots of the discipline,and summarizes and analyzes the hotspots of the literature results of the object of the study.In this paper,disciplinary literature from the SCI-E database in Web of Science was selected for study between 2008 and 2017.The word frequency analysis method is used to obtain the hot keywords with high results,and the high-frequency words are categorized according to the development trend of the number of high-frequency words according to the frequency changes over time;the co-word analysis method combined with the social network analysis method to indicate the centrality of important node keywords,using the assignment analysis to cluster the high-frequency words;the co-quoted direct clustering,using the keywords as clustering labels,and keyword frequency analysis for comparison.In combination with the statistical analysis software Bibexcdel,Ucinet,visualization software Net Draw,Cite Space,,summarizing and explaining the changes and connections during the period based on the year-by-year exploration of discipline hotspots,and comment on the changes of hotspots contained in the journal literature results of the physical chemistry discipline research.The results of this study show that between 2008-2017,the improved precision of the research equipment allowed the nanomaterials and microstructures to be fully investigated,while post-graphene received a lot of attention as a newly discovered material,followed by zinc oxide and titanium dioxide,both of which have multiple excellent properties.During this period,the heat of research on hydrogen batteries has gradually given way to rechargeable ion and solar cells,which have picked up again,and supercapacitors have gained attention for their power utilization.Self-assembled films that can be used for optical devices and liquid crystals also have continued to heat up.In addition,density flood function theory has been a hotspot for use,and its counterpart is the extensive use of computer simulation analysis.Overall,the research hotspots in the physical chemistry discipline in 2008-2017 are moving towards clean energy utilization and improved optoelectronic component performance,driven by new discoveries and counter-influenced by actual production.
