The west second mining area is a part of the Jinchuan Nickel Mine and is a relatively independent ore body.It is geographically located in Jinchang City,Gansu Province. The early use of the filling mining method caused the overlying surrounding rock in the mining area to lose stability, and a number of ring-shaped intricate cracks occurred on the surface of the west second mining area, which caused obvious surface subsidence and collapse. As the first mining sublevel in the west second mining area to adopt the sublevel caving method in 1590 level, line 5-7 has now entered the mining test stage of caving method.Up to now,the rock movement caused by the1630 level and 1610 level mining in the west second mining area has been explored and analyzed, while the caving method has caused very little exploration and analysis of ground subsidence, settlement and surface stability. The research object of this article is the west second mining area of the Jinchuan Mine. After fully studying the relevant engineering geological data, monitoring data and measurement data, the main line is around the surface subsidence caused by caving mining.Based on the surface subsidence monitoring technology recognized by the international engineering community, the research on the surface subsidence monitoring and stability analysis of the west second mining area has been carried out.Based on the collapse monitoring data, this paper mainly does the following work and research:(1)On the basis of on-site reconnaissance, conduct surface subsidence monitoring design research on the west second mining area.Establish a high-precision,high-reliability collapse monitoring network. From this,we realized that we could design and deploy a monitoring network, and determine the monitoring cycle, obtain high-precision monitoring data of surface subsidence in the west second mining area, and conduct accuracy assessment and analysis of surface subsidence monitoring data.(2)On the basis of on-site surveys, conduct surface subsidence monitoring and design research on the west second mining area, design and deploy a monitoringnetwork, and determine the monitoring period. From this,we realized that we could obtain high-precision west second mining area's surface subsidence monitoring data, and conduct surface subsidence monitoring data Analysis of the accuracy assessment.(3)The numerical simulation method of rock movement monitoring in the west second mining area was used to study the horizontal, vertical and three-dimensional displacement characteristics of the surface during the whole process of caving mining in the west second mining area.In order to show the situation of caving mining more intuitively,a caving mining area was established. The three-dimensional model, summarizes and analyzes the laws of rock mass movement and surface deformation caused by caving mining method. From this,we realized that the existence of backfills restricted the movement of rock mass around caving mining to some extent.(4)Summarizes the engineering background of the west second mining area, simulates and analyzes various factors. From this,we realized that the existence of goaf, mining area and fault affects the stability of subsidence area to a certain extent.(5)The influence of the area and depth of the caving method mining on the rock movement law is analyzed, and the further development of the surface collapse and surface deformation in the west second mine area is predicted. From this,we realized that with the increase of the area and depth of caving mining, the interference of caving mining on the surface stability of the west second mining area is severe.
