Seven coordination compounds are designed and synthesized.Seven coordi nation compounds are prepared by the reactions of Zn2+,Cu2+,Cd2+,Mn2+,Fe3+and rare earth ions Er3+ with Schiff base ligand,pentadentate HL[(2-hydroxybenzy lidene)2-pyridylamidrazone].Complexes 1-6 are analyzed by IR,complexes 1,2 and 3 are analyzed by fluorescence spectroscopy,the complex 5 is analyzed by thermogravimetric instrument and susceptibility measurement is performed o n the complex 6.The molecular formulas of the complexes are as follows:Complexes 1 and 4 contain mononuclear structure.Structure of complex 2 consistsof one dimensional.Complex 3 is three-dimensional structure.Comple xes 5,6 and 7 are all dinuclear crystal structure.complex 6 exhibits anferrom agnetic interactions.During the synthesis of complex 5,Fe3+ reacted with(2-h ydroxybenzylidene)2-pyridylamidrazone to form another ligand contining 1,2,4 t riazole ring.
