The temperature distribution of cold plate refrigerated truck is one of the key factorsaffecting its storage and transportation quality. A uniform temperature field can keep goodsfresh during transportation. In order to study temperature field distribution of cold platerefrigerated truck and effects on preservation of vegetables. The contents of this issueinclude: Load calculation of refrigerated truck and cold plate number computing;Thermodynamic property of cold plate eutectic liquid; Numerical simulation andexperimental research on temperature field of cold plate refrigerated truck; Effects ofrefrigerated truck temperature field on the preservation of vegetables. Study results canprovide a reference for the optimization design of cold plate refrigerated truck.(1) Heat load calculation of refrigerated truck and cold plate number computing.Heat balance method and outline algorithm method were introduced to calculate loadof refrigerated truck in this article. Improved heat balance method can be used for coldplate refrigerated truck load calculation. In order to obtain the number of cold plate, we letthe refrigerated truck cooling consumption equals to the heat of cold plates.(2) The thermodynamic property of cold plate eutectic liquid was analyzed in thispaper.Besides, the freezing and discharging process of NaCl cold plate was calculated bymeans of numerical modeling. Experimental data met well with simulation results, whichshowed that the model is apt for the simulation of freezing and discharging process. Theresults indicate that environmental temperature has a large effect on the cold plate freezingand discharging process.(3) Numerical simulation and experimental research on temperature field of coldplate refrigerated truck.This study reveals the general rules and influencing factors of temperature field in coldplate refrigerated truck, which can provide a reference for the optimization design and thestack method selection in cold plate refrigerated truck. And the deviation of experimentaldata and simulated result was not beyond the scope of permission, which showed that themodel is appropriate to the simulation of the temperature distribution in cold platerefrigerated truck.(4) Effects of refrigerated truck temperature field on the preservation of vegetables.In this paper, weight loss rate, membrane penetration rate and vitamin c content wereevaluated under different storage conditions with different temperature fields. Results showthat the uniform temperature filed has a better effect of preservation. This study provided a reference for the optimization design of refrigerated truck.
