With the constant deepening of electric power system in our country, the nationalnetwork to speed up the pace, the user increasing demand for power quality, the safeoperation of power system faces new challenges.To improve the accuracy and timelinessof the power grid fault diagnosis is of great significance to safe operation of powergrids.In order to quickly find fault source when the grid fault?we put forward a newmethod of fault diagnosis about combining with the genetic algorithm and simulatedannealing algorithm.Set up genetic simulated annealing algorithm of power grid faultdiagnosis system.When the fault happens, a large number of information into the schedulingsystem.It is difficult to judge fault areas quickly,base on the fault information enter thediagnostic center in different period of time, we will be layered process information.Thefirst layer,faulted judgement in WAMS system.The second layer, with the help ofSCADA system located fault zone.The third layer, the fault components diagnosis usinggenetic simulated annealing algorithm.The fourth layer, fault analysis report.Faultinformation separation processing made fault information more intuitive,at the sametime shorten the time of the power grid fault diagnosis.Genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm are combined can realize thecomplementary,genetic algorithm has a better ability to grasp the overall,simulatedannealing algorithm has strong local search ability.It is concluded the optimal solutionquickly.According to the realistic requirement of fault diagnosis of power grid,Consideringthe Instantaneous fault reclosing and permanent fault of accelerate the protection affectthe objective function,Improved model.Using the diagnosis system of genetic simulated annealing algorithm for faultdiagnosis, the fault solution is better than that of mathematical programming methods ora single algorithm,this method can avoid the multiple solution. Genetic simulatedannealing algorithm in the application of the power grid fault diagnosis was proved right.
