A Study Of Comparison Of Spatial Form Of High-rise Low-density And Low-rise High-density Residential

The design of residential space form is the key point of residential community design,with which not only the physical environment quality of living environment could be improved,but also the improving of mental aspects of living environment.With the development of living standard and the reinforced concentration of the quality of life,the residential space environment was being a top concern.But in fact,due to the influence of economic,policy,transportation and other factors,the basic building model of residential community in our country is high-rise low-density.Comparing with the high-density low-rise in the mixed neighborhood residential type,our country is still in the stage of functionalism.Some problems have been exposed in the high-rise low-density in compared with the low-rise high-density residential community.In this thesis,the spatial morphological characteristics of residential community in the high-rise low-density and the low-rise high-density have been analyzed,in order to analyze the design principles of humane ecology community.The thesis was divided into five sections.The first chapter is the first section which contains the Introduction.The main theory,background,meaning,purpose and content of the thesis have been introduced.The problems of the current development model of residential community have been analyzed,and the reason of choosing the high-rise low-density residential community and the low-rise high-density community as the object has been explained either.The second section is the epistemology.The definitions of the residential community,density and residential space form have been introduced,and the main development mode and the theory of the domestic and international residential community have been summarized,so does the current development of the domestic and international residential community.The third section is the methodology.Based on the analysis of the variety changing of the development model in domestic and international residential community,we concluded the factors of the evolution of urban residential space,and a methodology foundation of the design of humane ecological settlements has been laid.The fourth section is the practice,which is the focus of this study.First of all,the urban spatial development structures of representative cities of the high-rise low-density and the low-rise high-density residential community have been analyzed,then do the four cases from different developed district.After comparing the two residential communities,the spatial characteristics have been analyzed,and a theoretical foundation for the humane ecological residential design has been laid.The conclusion is in the last section.The issues and solutions proposed in this thesis have been summarized,and the humane ecological community design principles have been proposed,which could benefit the future research of green residential community.
