Electrified locomotives gradually replace the diesel locomotive and steam locomotive for its environmental pollution,fast,and high degree of safety and reliability.In recent years,with the increased speed of normal-speed train and the development of high-speed railway,the construction standards of catenary,which supply electric power for the electrification locomotive,become more stringent and the routine maintenance tasks become more arduous.But the detection technology of catenary is lagging behind in our country.The contradictions between the heavy detection task and the lagging detection equipment need to be solved.This dissertation relies on the project with Beijing Tiangegaotong Technology Corporation.During the construction of catenary,the catenary can not be detected with detection locomotive and manual testing methods are low efficiency,lack of continuity and poor stability.On the basis of the detection technology,we research the detection method and system of catenary’ s geometry parameters with high-resolution single-line lidar.Detailed works are as follows:By analyzing the performance of two common catenary’s geometry parameters detection methods,we selected detection method with ridar because of system portability requirements.The conventional method is only time-related and can’t show the real shape of catenary.We have proposed a detection method of catenary’s geometry parameters based lidar and added the displacement of the system.For requirements of detection system,we have designed the hardware and software,and proposed an algorithm of catenary’s geometry parameters using single line lidar.The algorithm can analyze the data in two ways : by time or by distance and using Kalman filter algorithm to optimize th e results.We have found the solutions to the problem with the system protection through a simple and effective method.The proposed system has been successfully applied to a small trolley for catenary detection.We have done some experiments in Daxi high-speed railway and normal-speed railway in Guangxi and Guiyang and launched products on sale.The results show that our system reaches the detection standards and do better than the existing detection methods on stability,continuity and testing efficiency.
