As the development in power area,the reliability and stability of power network operation is becoming more and more serious.As one of the important equipment in power system,the current transformer has been paid more attention to the stability and accuracy of its operation.Compared with the traditional electromagnetic current transformer and active electronic current transformer,the fiber optical current transducer has a greater advantage,and has become the mainstream of the development of electronic transducer instrument all over the world.However,the current application of all fiber optic current transformer products still exist many problems,such as poor stability,accuracy,and so on.The generation of these problems,to a large extent,comes from the noise interference of the fiber optic transducer system.If the noise problem is solved,the stability and reliability of the transducer can be improved to a great extent.This paper firstly discusses the theoretical basis and basic principle of fiber optic current transducer,and analyzes the noise types in the system.Then introduces the improvement of system from two aspects of hardware and software,it can carry out noise problems for each part of system.To the hardware circuit,we mainly focused on the light source part and the signal modulation part,select the appropriate components to construct the optical path,and design a new control scheme to maintain the light source stability,optimize the signal modulation and demodulation algorithm,guarantee the extraction of weak effective signal.In the software aspect,the filtering algorithm is added to DSP to filter the noise and improve the accuracy of the signal.Finally,the experimental demonstration of the improved system,the results show that the system accuracy and stability meet the design requirements,the scheme is feasible.
