Empirical Study Of Urban Density Partition

Zengcheng become one of the district of Guangzhou in 2015,and the “modern medium-sized ecological city” will be more in tune with development of Zengcheng.However,how to optimize the city’s space and complete the transformation of urban orientation and function,this is the important issue that urban planners face.Through the research of urban density distribution regularities,basic density distribution rules are beginning to emerge.Based on the analytical combination of domestic and foreign development intensity zoning and density zoning,paper concluded four density distribution impacting factors,namely public service factor,integrated transportation factor,environmental afforestation factor,and policy driving factor,by the judgement matrix built with AHP.Then,according to all levels of road,natural waters,and ecological bottom-line,paper will divide the whole survey region to 144 elementary units,and develop density distribution comprehensive model in macro,meso,and micro level.In macro level,by forecast studies on area population size,the general and various constructive land scales can be inferred.In meso level,paper will build integrated transportation factor model,public service factor model,environmental afforestation factor model,and policy driving factor model,and by assessing accessibility and population carrying capacity in elementary units,models will be modified from the perspective of historical and humanistic angle,and density distribution comprehensive model will be summed up.In micro level,on the base of large and medium sized cities’ experience in China and national standard,paper predict construction quantities in residential and non-residential lands.In brief,status analysis,effecting factors’ proportion,model building,and density distribution in urban density zone system are confirmed from macro,meso,and micro level.Finally,paper will put forward some suggestion for the development of central urban area in Zengcheng,and hope it had a certain help to the future city planning of Zengcheng.
