In power systems,with the rapid development of extra high voltage transmission system,the research ofhigh-speed protection based on traveling wave or high-frequency transient develop fast.The protection devices of EHV transmission line assume a very important task,these protection will be interfered inevitably by a variety of high-frequency signals,in which lightning interference is the most important interfering factors.Therefore,the research of lightning interference identification technique has important signification for high-speed protection operate rapidly and accurately and be practical as quickly as possible.This paper use the method of spectrum analysis on the current transient component to study the distribution of energy under different circumstances,find out the difference,and combine the analysis of the transient current waveform features,to distinguish inducing-lightning,direct-lightning of non-fault direct-lightning of fault and common short-circuit fault on transmission line.Via this way,finally achieve the purpose of identifying lightning interference,and to ensure the protection will not mal-operate.
