In recent years,a large amount of construction waste such as waste brick and abandoned concrete is generating with the development of construction industry.There are a large number of researches on the waste concrete to recycle the construction resources.So far,there are a lot studies on the waste concrete,while a few studies on the waste brick.However,many experimental studies have shown that the intensity of the recycled aggregate concrete is lower,the incidence of damage is high,plastic deformation capacity is poor,which limits the application range of the recycled aggregate concrete in the engineering.How to improve the bearing capacity and the deformation capacity of the recycled aggregate concrete to expand the application scope?Therefore,recycled aggregate concrete research has already become one of the main content in the current.In this paper,in order to improve the bearing capacity of the recycled aggregate concrete with waste bricks and the abandoned concrete.The structural column and ring beam is set at the surrounding of the wall used recycled aggregate concrete,that forms the composite wall.In this paper,the experimental research on the characteristics of the recycled concrete aggregates included waste bricks and the abandoned concrete.Based on this,the test studies on the recycled concrete and the composite wall composed by waste brick and recycled concrete.The conclusions are as following:(1)The experiment researches on the performance of the waste brick and recycled concrete aggregates.The test indicated that the waste brick has lower density,higher porosity,which provides a reference for researching recycled concrete with waste brick.(2)The experiment researches on the mechanical properties of the recycled concrete included the compression strength and elastic modulus.The failure form and stress-strain relations are observed.It compared with the ordinary concrete.The relationship of cube compressive strength and the axial compressive strength is discussed.The elastic modulus of the recycled concrete is calculated.It lay the foundation for researching the composite wall composed by waste brick and recycled concrete.(3)The experiment researches on the mechanical properties of the composite wall composed by waste brick and recycled concrete under the action of the vertical.The failure form,the deformation and the carrying capacity of the composite wall are analyzed.The load distribution relationship and deformation between the wall and the structural column is also analyzed.The methods that calculate the bearing capacity of the composite wall is provided.At the same time,the measured value and the calculated value in the wall are in good agreement under the action of vertical load.The load distribution between the structure column and the wall and the working coordinately under the load are analyzed.The wall can be applied to the load-bearing elements in the practical engineering.(4)The test studies on the composite wall composed by waste brick and recycled concrete under uniformly distributed out-plane load.The load deflection curve of the wall is obtained.The resistances capacity of the wind and seismic were analyzed.It showed that the deformation and bearing capacity of the wall can satisfy the use requirement.The composite wall can be applied to practical engineering,which used as building enclosure structure and infill wall in the masonry structure or the high-level structure.
