The research on crack resistance of semi-rigid base has been always the major research orientation of our traffic industry.This thesis aims to improve the crack resistance of semi-rigid base by researching the gradation of aggregation and composition of binding materials.Through a series of theoretical verification and laboratory experiment,this thesis comes up with Superpave “S” model crack-resistant gradation and combines with practical projects to pave relevant test roads.Theories and practices demonstrate optimized gradation plays an important role in improving various performances of semi-rigid base materials.Firstly,this thesis carried out theoretical analysis of the internal structure of the aggregation,came up with the key control sieve pores and gradation range of S type gradation,as well as put forward the median gradation solution and original gradation solution for contrast test.Then,it conducted relevant raw material test,unconfined compressive strength test,compression resilience test,so as to illustrate the S type gradation test piece is characterized by initial high strength,strong stability and excellent crack resistance performance.At last,combined with engineering practice,this thesis obtained the key road construction technology of local semi-rigid base and provided local urban road construction with better guidance by paving a 200 m test road at Guanshaling road of Changsha City in2014 and researching relevant construction technology and quality control during the construction process.
