The Design And Algorithm Study Of License Plate Number Recognition System

In recent years,a variety of intelligent traffic management system into people's horizons.These automated traffic assistant system not only can be applied to urban traffic automation management,at the same time,also can be applied to all kinds of traffic management.In fact,the traffic management automation system based on license plate recognition technology,its working principle can be understood as the application of digital image processing technology from real-time traffic image detection,location and recognition of license plate number,then identify license plate number and vehicle image transmission to a central server system,so as to build up traffic data storage database,provide auxiliary information for daily traffic management.In this process,it is very important for various types of characters in the license plate recognition accurately.However,the existing low efficiency of license plate character recognition algorithm is widespread recognition,many defects of environmental requirements higher.So,to solve these problems,this paper makes a deep research,discusses the variety can be in the license plate number recognition system using the algorithm effectively;Through the analysis of the existing license plate character recognition algorithm is commonly used and studied.On this basis,identified in the license plate character recognition system adopted by the algorithm,and the existing algorithm was improved appropriately,making the developed system in the actual operation process have higher accuracy and faster.The system through simulation and validation of the application of the real environment,prove the effectiveness of the proposed design scheme.In this paper,based on the research of commonly used neural network algorithm,based on the actual requirements of the project and project,design a kind of character recognition algorithm based on template matching and neural network,the ideal recognition effect is obtained.
