An overview of the main content and the development of the car ride comfort.Multi-body dynamics theory and vitural prototyping technology apply in vehicle dynamics analysis are introduced.For a sport utility vehicle,according to the structural parameters,size parameters,physical parameters and mechanical parameters of the car to establish a vehicle multi-body dynamics model by using Adams/car.A detailed discussion of the vehicle system to simplify and the model build process are mad.Consider the non-linear characteristics of the shock absorbers and rubber bushings in the model build process.Refer to GB/T4970-2009 "car ride test methods".Fristly,a series of simulation test of ride comfort on the B-class and C-class random road was performed in a variety speeds,and the vibration at centroid of the car body and seat surface are detailed analyzed,using the total weighted vibration acceleration root mean square value of the human body to evaluate car ride comfort.Secondly,a series of simulation test of ride comfort on the triangular pulse road was performed in a variety speeds,and the vibration vetical acceleration at centroid of the car body and seat surface are detailed analyzed,using the largest vibration vetical acceleration of human body to evaluate car ride comfort.From the evaluation of the results,the ride comfort of the car to meet the design requirements.A comprehensive analysis of the impact of changes in the road surface,speed,vehicle system parameters on the car ride comfort are made.According to the analysis of the results,selecting suspension spring stiffness(k1,k2)and shock absorber damping(c1,c2)as the design variables,and the minimum total weighted vibration acceleration root mean square value of the human body as the objective function,then Optimizing the car's ride comfort.Comparing the experimental results of before optimize and after optimize,the ride comfort of the car was more better than before,and the optimization program is effective.
